  • ha ha I love the Top Gear "Stig introduction story quote" Jeremy Clarkson hilarious!

  • The music reminds me of the show 'How It's Made.' Baller.

  • who the fuck works on a car in flip flops

  • @300zxgreg Who doesn't?

  • How not to jack up your car @ 1:10 See the sill collapsing?

  • The CC for this is retarded haha "somalis getting the contact optimism freedom of the problem i sure doesnt fall. Because he says safety conscious he's also got an accident on the back of his house" -__________-

  • if your only going to go halfway with rolling the guards adding heat to the paint will make no difference. you would be surprised how much flex there is in paint these days, and half the time you do this on a car even if you think its not cracked and looks sweet the paint is full of tiny cracks and or delaminated from the steel anyway. risk either way. try buying wheels that fit your car to start with... :)

  • wats up man, i have a 1992 lexus sc400 and im trying to find a car thatfront lower control arms, and dash board cluster that interchangeable, thanks much!!!

  • @trevorblack1977 the sc300 :)

  • lol at being safety concious wearing flip-flops

  • @mrxbrightside Chinese workboots :)

  • why did you roll the rear and its not even on its ass??

PS. you only need to roll where the tire rubs..... not ahead of the wheel where it would never rub... roll directly above the wheel since it only goes up and down not back and foward.

plus, why do you have bitch cars?? get a VN or something

  • they had heat guns a thousand years ago?

  • whats the song name ?

  • better shots of what you actually doing would be great, jokes are good and everything, but youtube how to videos could be so much better if they actually showed more of the actual process rather than blah blah blah

  • Lol the warning at the end! We take no responsiblity if you F**k ya car

  • Going to do this on my 106 soon, had a full car the other day and the only time it DIDN'T scrape was when I was braking -__-

  • When he was talking about that guy I thought he was going to say this "All we know is, hes called the Stig" LOL!!!

  • HAHA . LOOK AT THE CLEARANCE . I TAKE IT YOU WILL BE CARRYING ELEPHANTS IN THE BACK LOL.

  • I like to use a roller :D

  • hahahahhaa old MCM

  • *Sigh* The guy i bought my car off did this the opposite way >.>

  • @SirAgileRS Haha that guy is so dumb you should go and punch him in his face

  • 1:10 "Under the axle or suspension saves damage to your penis" ? What the fuck ?!?

  • @T0KzZ

post editing to hide the bad lifting spot and the "bent" rocker panel.

the fun genital part is to distract your brain of this little mistake.

  • @michaelovitch Shut the fuck up lol! It's not exactly an official nissan guide is it. It's done more for entertainment and ideas than a 100% set guide on how to roll arches. Who HASN'T bent that bit of their sill? Not to mention that it IS the jacking point.... Pisses me off when nobs like you watch a video made mainly for fun, and you somehow manage to find something to criticise because you're mr know it all, been a mechanic since 1768 and shit gold every morning.... NOB! Make your own video!

  • @aaddzz123

I did dude.that's why i add my cents here.

look at my vid "picking up the new engine : shit happens". you will learn how to load up a 600 lbs engine properly.

By the way i'm mechanic since 1789 and shit maroon stinky marmots since 1982.

  • @T0KzZ think he means penis as in the jack

  • A faster way to roll your fenders is to use a heat gun and baseball bat. leave your wheels on. Jack it up a little if necessary then roll the bat till it folds.

  • just get a bar m8 and roll back and forth

  • This happens to my mate car. I asked him what that noise was he said that's what makes baby Jesus cry

  • 1:09 "...saves damage to your penis"

    Umm...

  • hey my front wheels are rubbing on the front guards when i take tight corners. will this fix problem too?

  • I did this in 15 min :) both sides no paint chip either!

  • haha the end part!

  • ROFL@ the end "we take no responsibility if you fuck your car" @3:45

  • Why modify a micra?(Yes, fat girls need love but micras dont)

Why spend money on those wheels? Their terrible and so's the car.

    Aso I bet they bum?

  • its looks real easy but the chances of messing up the fender freaks me out.

  • bahaha @ 1:08. "Refer to your manual in regards to where to jack your car up from. Under the axel or suspension saves damage to your penis" :)

  • will u do a show on how to flare your arches thanks

  • @shokaae86 they drive micras, they wont have the skills for flaring.....

  • 1:08 it says penis lol

  • cutting will bare the fender and will easy rust.. i use a damm hammer and hit it. cutting with metal grinder would be so fast.

  • y dont u just cut it off

  • @crazyshit911 Because it is double skinned so it wil come apart and your car will fall apart

  • O.O oh my god... Did u eat Marty???

  • I wouldnt worry about them tiny arse wheels touching the arches, have you seen the amount of space there is!! lol

  • Nice DIY demonstration i must say but isnt the "excess guard" an indication of riced-out wheels?

You know you've gone RICE when your wheels have been lowered or getting huge rims and aftermarket tyres to a point which hits the guards and the only way to fix it is by rolling hahahahaha

  • @EVLGTR cool

  • @EVLGTR just like race cars

  • Quite possibly the smallest drum brakes I have ever seen on a car. I think the first mighty car mod would to be that you buy a mighty car. That and a fender roller from Eastwood.

  • is the nissa micra good??? performance and reliability???

  • @samartz very

  • lol 1:06 read the caption to the end

  • how much cars do u have jeese???

  • hmm gonna need to do this....trying to get 18x9.5's on a 180 lol..... wish me luck.

  • you can rent the real tool from streetunit . com. Much better than using a mallet

  • uh this is stupid......i ithink ill just rent a fender roller

  • I can't actually see any difference.

  • you forgot the pipe method

  • or you can do it the easy way leave the wheels on and put a metal bar in between the arches and the wheel and lean down on the bar and get someone to push the car while there pushing the car you roll the bar in you have rolled arches saves alot of money

  • you should do one with interior and exterior neon lights.

  • what a waste of time -_- it can be done in 3 min. each side

  • @LSD7591 Look up guard rolling gone wrong and tell me if your one of those knobs that just roll the fender before heating it up?

  • what do i do with mine?. they are glassfiber. pliz answer!!

  • Love the Japanese safety boots!

  • i dunno where to get a heat gun, i hope butane lighter works just as well...

  • all you need is a hamer and a peace of cloth, thats how i did it and i didin't have to take out any fenders, just the wheels. and now i can fit 18" rims on a 96 hyundai accent.

  • @DJALIENPHANTOM why would you want 18' rims on a Hyundai of any kind?

  • @ilikethings5 uh the new genesis comes stock with 19's. It would look retarded with anything smaller then an 18'.

  • You can just use a baseball bat.

  • lol I just wedge a ball bat between the wheel and the panel and pull forward and the bat rolls around the wheel well folding it in,but thats on older american cars with thicker metal

  • Refer to your manual in regards to where to jack up your car from.

Under the axle or suspension saves damage to your penis?!?!?!

how do you damage your penis whilst jacking up a car?

  • why do they do that for? is it for the big tires?

  • Good on ya for giving it a go but I'd like to see those guards close up with light on 'em :)

  • a baseball bat and a couple friends works much better and looks much nicer when done... FYI

  • love your accent lol

  • why the fuck are you modding a micra?

  • Конченый далбаеп...........кто ж под порог домкратит?

  • Summed up in one word...........

    BOLLOX

  • The title says how to roll your guards, but I want to know how to guard your grill and knuckle up.

  • There is no need for a heat gun and all that shibizzle...

To roll your guards, all you need is a rolling pin and 2 people.

1 person drives, 1 person using the rolling pin.

place the rolling pin behind the wheel and let the driver SLOWLY drive forward. the wheel will grip to the wood pin and pull it under the guard as the wheel turns around. As you dive foward the guard will bend up, giving you bend guards. Simple, and perfect :D

  • @D0ggee Haha, uhh... try that when there is barely any room to fit your hand in there, let along a rolling pin.. Prepare to break something, I would not trust this, plus your paint will crack

  • Both cars on the vid didnt need to have their guards rolled, at all. Its easier to jam a bit if wood in the arch and roll the car back and forth.

  • I bet the neighbors weren't too impressed with all that bangin. :)))

  • lol you just crushed the sill

  • eng nobs

  • u dont need to roll the lower ends of the fenders...the car will only hit the upper end of the fender if too low. at 10 and 2 o clock of the circumference of the fender needs to be rolled.

  • Good effort guys. Next time try using a dolly! Love the show tho...keep em coming.

  • thers stilla some more that needs to be done the actuall roll you need a pole about 3 inches wide jam it between your wheel and fender then reverse slowly then repeat gowing foward adn itll look way better !!

  • Its not even low ffs, micra aha.

  • wow thats ghetto there do it right or dont do it thats what i say instead of wasting time on junk cars spend time making money to get some real tools

  • what a shit pile!! wtf would you want to roll the guards on that piece of shit.

  • @axenm21 Dude, it's just an example. Shut your face.

  • LOL check out the CAREFULL pacement of the jack dish. You can actually see the bottom of the sill bend when its being lifted up!

  • usually moog would just lift the car using his brute strength and we could put the axle stand where ever we liked...

we've started a paypal account taking donations for a hoist so please feel free to donate.

  • buy a guard roller is easlier?use a hummer seen a bit of risk.....

  • whats a disaster

  • 1:47 "practice on old guards first"

  • @mightycarmods where do you get all your stuff from?? (cars etc.)

  • @gearhead8989 You are EPIC FAIL!

  • @gearhead8989 You don't pay attention too well do you?

  • @gearhead8989 not see what they did first. EPIC FAIL hurpa derp

  • @gearhead8989 your comment was epic fail

  • @gearhead8989 No the EPIC FAIL is how your mommy and daddy are brother and sister so you were born deaf

  • so that its cheap to fix they ever mess up

  • just cut the shit...

  • you can also easily make a cheap DIY arch rolling tool using a scissor jack, a bit of welding would be required.... re dirt and water if you put a bead of silicone between the lip you will stop water and dirt getting caught to help limit chance of rusting!

  • Don't use this method. If you bend those edges 45 degrees upwards, you'll get dirt and water trapped on the inside of the arches. That, along with the damage you'll inevitably cause to the paintwork during this procedure, will cause your wheel arches to rust.

Fitting big and wide rims on a small car will ruin the handling anyway, especially when the road is wet.

  • They also have a fender rolling tool , if you need to do this alot.

  • whatever happened to getting a wooden baseball bat, wedge it beween the fender and tire and roll it back and fourth?

  • or you could do what i did and get the angle grinder and cut the guards off

  • The rear quater is a welded panel, so cutting it off will make two panels split open...

  • Or someone can get the angle grinder and cut your brain out, since its not being used....

  • wtf justin timberlake

  • why do they need to roll there fenders, there cars are stock height...

  • haha i agree. there is no chance at all of them having any issues of the wheel hitting the arches. look at the gap between the wheel and the arch!

  • read the description. bigger wheels and tyres

  • You can apply Spectrum from Second Skin Audio.

  • D Y N A M A T.

  • LOL... there is an easier way.

get a pole... stick it between the tyre and the guard and get some one to drive over it while some one holds the pole.

I did it on a very low subaru that rubbed the guards really bad with out turning corners, they got 45 degrease on the car in the video but I got the metal to sit hard against the inside of the guard with out any paint cracking. It STILL rubbed so I flared the guard out with the pole about 0.5 - 1 inch. No paint cracked and it looked good.

  • Ah failed to notice lol. I was tired..... That my excuse and im sticking by it. Lol

  • Theres no way that micra scrapes. It got about 6 inches between the top of tyre and start of the arch. Lol. Plus why would you ever ever put new set of wheels on a micra, its one of the most stupid cars to do up ever, apart from a van

  • thats why its mighty car mods lol, its a joke

  • yeah use some sound deadening material in the sides or less expensive option and turn the bass down ur subs will last alot longer ...........

plus u don't look like an tool cruising down the road with subs thumping

  • great vid! Roll dem fenders!

  • turn ur bass down mayb

  • Thanks for the vid blokes!

I'll be doing this to my micra, rubbing wheels are getting annoying.

Any hints for increasing turning clearance on the front wheel arches?

  • take your inner fender well out

  • Can you guys do more of your DIY's on the Cuore? I own one and would love to be able to see exactly where it all is!

  • its not the bigger wheel that causes the rubbing as they would have the same outside diameter unless someone stuffed up. Its the wider tyre and wheel as well as the greater offset in some cases.

  • What a shitbox.

  • You guys have a better intro than most of the commercial channel junk on prime-time TV!

    Keep up the great work!

  • sounds like top gear

  • I just a grinder to my arch lips and chopped them out :)

  • HAHAHAHAHA ive never noticed the end!! " we take no responsibility if you f**k up your car" that was fantastic!

  • Please tell me the cars belong to your little sisters....!

    Fully sick vid guys.

  • now thats ghetto

  • so safety conscious with his sandals on lol

  • ah yes the safety boots! it gets hot in Australia adequate foot ventilation is a big safety concern

  • @mightycarmods You wouldn't want to get the dangerous athletes foot!

  • LOL them cars didnt need to be rolled

  • Actually both cars were rubbing before we rolled the guards.

  • The cars weren't in motion and gap was pretty narrow...

Great vid's guys. Keep it up! Going to give it a shot on my fd an my E30.

  • great stuff, watched em all thanks for making it easy to understand!

Stupid cicadas though loud as hell in the vids :P

  • its so much better to leave your car in nuetral and shove a bat in between the tire and wheel well and rolling it back an fourth.... but great vid

  • excellent video. well made and entertaining, thanx. i'm slowly making my way through all your episodes. there iz over 20 now!!

  • Sweet dude! That's cool.

  • thanks bro, im gonna do that becuase i have a 2000 honda accord and i have 20" rims and it scratches like crazy...thanks man

  • when u roll the guards, is it just the small black lip being rolled back or is it the actuall body?

  • the actual sheet metal

  • Good stuff guys. This is not complicated like some othere videos show.

  • Thanks fellas, this is good stuff.

  • marty looks a little bit like justin timberlake...

  • Wow these episodes you guys have a really good/helpful. I rekon you should send this in to the channel tvs (free to air tv. We dont have any shows like this in Australia..so u guys are on to something.

    Keep the awesome work up!

  • did i see this guy jack it up on the body :O instead of the rear lower shock absorber or front lower wishbone joint, obviously u need to leave the jacking point for the axle stand i know but gees :s

  • usually moog would just lift the car using his brute strength and we could put the axle stand where ever we liked...

we'll start a paypal account taking donations for a hoist! then we won't have to worry about jacking comments... :)

  • iv been wanting a in floor 4 point hydraulic jack fer ages till i win the lotto guess ill keep dreaming. hey do you have haynes car manuals out there?

  • yep, a few of them! handy things

  • visit the haynes museum here in england its meant to be awesome

  • ehh it appears he placed it on the pinch weld. no harm.. u gotta watch out aswell b/c thos kinda jacks and bend the pinch weld.

  • You're show is coming along nicely!

    Glad to see the progress!
