831 views with no ratings, no comments, not even a poorly articulated insult? Here goes: definitely interesting. Not as as good as Elvis, but this is a tough piece, especially how he does it. Every now and again you sound excellent though. You've got some classical training, right? Choir, etc.

Not any classical training. Will started out a Buddy Holly tribute artist at 12 and his voice changed about 8 months ago. He picked up Elvis by accident. His dad hired an amateur voice coach and the rest is just raw talent. While he isn't Elvis, he does have a couple of contests under his belt and came in 1st out of 18 in Harrodsburg, KY and competed in Memphis in August and placed 11th out of more than 100 ETA's. Not bad for soon-to-be 14 year old.

I appreciate anybody who admires Elvis Presley, who became known to me during 1950s. This fellow does not sound like him and he seems to be straining rather than singing naturally. I do not have mean spirit, just truthful. By the way, video ended without us knowning whether that last note was reached.

I posted a better quality and full version of him singing this song in Jan. But even if you didn't watch that one, I did post the end of this clip as Part 2. While he is not a perfect version of Elvis (and who is), you got to give the boy credit, he's only 14 now and for a boy of his age to sing this well at his age is pretty astounding. The fact that he won his first contest and placed 11th out of over 100 ETA's at Memphis during Elvis Week last year speaks volumes. He did hit the note FYI.
