  • looks pretty, wouldn't do jack shit in a real fight tho

  • is this class in colorado?

  • @MrMmkmkm Na Scotland.

  • Some amount of bullsh&!@@&s on here , Yama bushi ryu is from Scotland , but I guess some of you numb nuts wouldn't know where Scotland was or even bothered to find out

  • The tori should not be landing with his legs bent, his bottom leg should be straight, while the top one is bent.

  • all muscle, bad

  • japanese jujutsu, judo, and russian sambo>bjj!!!!!!!

  • @speedpianomaster

Greco Roman and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu > Jap Jiu-jitsu, samba and all other unproven martial art forms

Its been proven at UFC's beginging and u ppl carry on with this nonsense...

  • @intactGB I find it funny that you say Jap jujitsu is unproven despite the fact that it was used on the battle field for over a thousand yrs lol

  • His Hip Throw are pathetic @57 seconds in, the guy in the white is bascially jumping for him, The throw you have you legs close together and you use your legs to flic them onto you hip and swag them down- Hard. Properly done they are ment to land on the base of the neck. ( experience 6 year of doing ju-jistsu)

  • @WaxworksAdam same @104, No use of the legs!!

  • hey, does anyone know what the throw is called at 0:24? thank you :)

  • whats that throw called @ 45 seconds

  • @MisterJ21 reverse head hip knee!

  • @ianbeon hahahahahaha!

Traditional? and its called "reverse head hip knee"? hahahahahahaha!

Good one.... if youre traditional, whats the name of youre ryû??

  • @RoninDerRote Yama Bushi Ryu.

  • @ianbeon hahahahahahahha!

    C`mon, stop it please, hahahahahaha!

Really, never heard of any ryû called "Yama Bushi". Point.

    Sorry, but thats a fail.

  • @RoninDerRote A qucik google and you'd have found quite a bit of info.

  • @RoninDerRote Who are you? What's the likelihood that you know every ryu? No need to be so arrogant on the internet. If you do martial arts, I suggest you absorb it's teachings, stop martial arts or stop trolling.

  • @ianbeon This school doesn´t exist. It is only bad Judo!

  • @RoninDerRote Lol, that's a sloppy variation of Osoto Guruma.

  • i have never practiced jujutsu (japanese) and i have never practiced brazilian jiu jitsu and have always wondered about the differences between both styles. from what i can see here about the throws is that bjj aims more for the legs in the throws and takedowns. but like i said i really don't know if that is what it is about.

  • @borobei I was about to ask the same question! If anyone could reply it would be great :D

  • @borobei BJJ focuses on ground fighting which is known as Ne waza in jujitsu, Japanese Jujitsu was the main hand to hand combat system of the samurai and as such cover all areas of unarmed combat (strikes, throws, locks, chokes, immobilization holds, weapon defenses etc) and also some schools teach the use of short weapons such as knives.

  • @BUSHIDOWAY82 THANK YOU. Its so refreshing to hear somebody with actual historical knowledge of the art. Fed up of hearing people say BJJ is ground work and actually works and japanese ju jitsu is just throws and fake. It even says on the big BJJ websites that ju jitsu is just throws. BJJ is some ju jitsu Ne Waza crossed with Vale Tuedo and a lot of marketing. It works, but the people preaching about it need to stop being suckered into the branding and learn from all.

  • this would be the best charecter on mortal combat

  • What is the throw at 0:24 called? Thank you in advance.

  • that was dope.

  • The one at 0:30 didn't it hurt? :O

  • @MrDonzINN / Na you use to it..

  • simply beautiful

  • imagaine fighting a guy like that who just kept gettin gup lol

  • @ Tezcatlipoca0047

its funny you say that lol. when me and my sensei start, and he says well be doing judo throws, i dread hearing that. because constantly we do 2 or 3 teachniques, and the whole hour of class i am slamming the mat lol. Although i dread getting slammed, i respect it because if you do these techniques to someone on the street, fights over.

  • @Daedalus294 or dont forget when he tells u to just break fall he u get floored allthe times

  • I'd hate to be the guy in the white gi haha

  • @Tezcatlipoca0047 That was me It's all part of the fun!

  • Why does every1 say judo originates frm bjj or vise versa??? just wiki the shit so u knw 4 sure

  • I like to see him block a Tiger Knee.

  • Awesome

  • meh, screw the brazllian ju jitsu "McDojos".

  • @mrajack1984

If im on the ground in a real fight and someone bites me, im breaking your arm instead of just choking or letting you tap out. Bad, bad idea

  • @lsloewen2 Trust me. Someone bites you hard enough you will let go. Unless you've got the willpower. I sure as hell don't hahaha

  • Uke sucks in falls... Good for tori

  • Its Japanese you Dick . cant you tell by the throws..the throws from Japan JJ mostly come from Judo

  • @MrDarren6868 its the other way around. everything in judo comes from old japanese jiu jitsu.

  • @MrDarren6868 Judo comes from Jiu Jitsu, Jiu Jitsu doesn't derive from Judo...

  • i have practiced traditional jujitsu for years. BJJ is not shit i fine it very effective, however the idea of going to ground with the opponent is dangerous. my teacher found "biting" an effective way to counter many, if not most pins.

  • The throws were he goes on his knees are outside/inside winds and three variations of head hip knee

  • Very impressive. Which ryu is this?

  • If I was uke then I'd be sooo blown up from getting off the mat so many times in such a short period.

  • What's so bad about the technique?

  • god flow, bad technique

  • @MrDontstareitsrude This is part of the Jap Jiu-Jitsu black belt test, What BJJ do you do that dose these throws.

  • @ianbeon Traditional Gracie BJJ, which is what people talk about when they say BJJ, does have all of this. These are normal BJJ throws. They are more simplified than traditional JJ.

  • @ianbeon BJJ is taken from Judo, that is where it originated. It actually has more throws than most people know and they stem directly from a lesser known form of judo that focus's on katame waza more than throws. It does have all of the same throws. This has been watered down over the years and you see more shooting and leg sweeps than hip throws or shoulder throws but it is in its history. I feel both systems are great in different aspects. Nice throws though. Do you guys freespar often?

  • @MrDontstareitsrude You are an idiot. Go back to that rock you live under and keep your mouth shut.

BTW-Great video. Keep up the great work.

  • That old dude is in pretty good shape to keep up that pace for almost 2 and a half minutes, I know it's all redirection of force, but not many folks can keep that up for that long

  • @teziinch Someone who completely understands Jiu JItsu can use it's moves with almost no energy needed.

  • I love JJJ just started it its already going grea

  • That will be me.

  • @ianbeon getting thrown? :D

  • the guy in white don't know when to quiet lol

  • epic! I start a jiu jitsu class next thursday. this makes me excited

  • @xander0713 Japanese or Brazillian?

  • @LightxKira5643 JJJ, already know how to do three of these throws. So fun!

  • its near enough the same throws being repeated kubinage ogoshi haraigoshi and ippon sionage with a few osotogeri's and ouchigeris and ani goshi's

  • It's a variation of head hip knee

  • Great vid jim

  • I'm sorry, it was at 0.34

  • @skrimpshidy It could be a different way to do the head hip drop knee. Not to sure though as i havent seen or done that move yet :)

  • @SillyBoyBlue83 LOL, thanks!,,, Anyway we can find out if it's still legal?

  • @skrimpshidy

SillyBoyBlue83 is correct, Head, Hip and Knee Throw.

  • What was that beautiful move at 0.27?
