  • I was at the Gaumont State Concert in 1978 - a memorable appearance and I think the only concert in Europe, it's hard to believe it was that long ago!

  • Warmlandlass, be assured there are many of us who regard George Wright with the greatest respect. In 1978 he came to England to perform a concert on the Wurlitzer in the State Cinema, Kilburn. A truly unforgettable experience.

  • @CliveevilCuk so gratifying to hear...love his music so very much~!

  • Also known as the Tritsch Tratsch Polka by Johan Strauss. Nicely played.

  • For an interesting look at a young George Wright on film, look up Charles Magnante and his trio, here on youtube. (1940's)

  • I worked for Conn and had the privilege of knowing George...quite a remarkable person and creative musician....his mechanical ability comes from his classical training. His mother was a classical piano teacher. Definitely a legend in his own time.........

  • oh, but I wish, hope and pray there are other George Wright Pipe Organ enthusiasts out there that can relate to this incredible man and his amazing, God-given talent~!!
