  • Well MydadWorks, yeah, and i have canned food more years than you have been alive, I know what I am talking about, this guys little dumbass garden with his garbage strung thru it is a stupid waste of time if you truly want to survive 365 days a year, year after year, he is a joke. don't suck into this mentality, I have been a survivalist for over 40 years and he is dead wrong.

  • You're gonna let rabbits eat 1/3 of your tiny garden output? Not me...rabbit stew is on the menu. You're gonna let neighbors come steal your only source of food for your family? Not me...

  • wild creatures would be all over that garden before you could ever harvest a mouthful. I'll just camp out in my garden , with hollow points, for the 4-5 month season. If you ask nice, i might throw you a tomato!

  • don't forget 365 days a year, 40% of those..... in most places...... will not grow food. What are you eating on march 1 ??? how long till your new garden is feeding you the next year ?? been there done that, gonna need alot better plan buddy.

  • @weedwizard7777 you store food, have you ever heard of canning foods?

  • @AnfoMerc Point taken, when I was hardcore survival a little went a long way and small animals filled my belly along with stored rice and beans, a few small survival gardens on the order of this vid gave my meals the occasional suprise, but surviving in this fasion is NOT thriving, what is the point of barely surviving? I want to not only survive, but thrive. I don't want fellow travellers lured into thinking a little pile of junk and a few radishes are gonna help them survive. 365 meals min

  • Sir, what state are you in?

  • I'm so glad I have Jesus , he never lets me do without :)

  • @GospelTruth37059 you are going to eat a bible? Jesus is coming down to feed your family? No! Prepare if you want to live.

  • wascally wabbit!

  • Some good ideas. Though I'm concerned that the critters would eat everything. I live in the suburbs and critters get in my garden all the time. I can produce quite a bit in my square foot gardens but not nearly enough to feed us. How many tiny gardens do you plant ?

  • what a complete dumb ass, I have lived deep in the woods for over 20 years and let me tell you, his little stash of junk won't help you survive or to garden enough food to come close to feeding you thru the year, ten or fifteen tomatoes potatoes and beans are not going to be near enough food. you need minimum 4000 square feet of area and his pathetic pile of junk and ridiculous shovel will go about 10 square feet and you will be dead.

  • @weedwizard7777 I disagree. Wild game, dried food, and things coming up in dozens of hidden spots will do. In SHTF, people will not be living as large as we are currently. No one will be fat. You get a half lb of game meat, a tomato and a squash - you are lucky. That might be all you get each day... but you'll be alive, have calories and nutrients.

  • I would have like to see your little gardens later in the season. To see how they were doing?

  • What if someone has a backyard full of "weeds", such as dandelion, purslane, and chickweed, etc.?

  • @ckpeltomaa Munchies no fusss no muss lol

  • I have been building up on seeds my self there us one thing you really need clean water are the things will make you suck as a dog remember to boil your water

  • What end times?

  • That cat is a ghost lol =) you have great points and i say Thank ya

  • Great video, and as said above yeah it'd be great if we'd all come together and help each other. But we all know there's too many thieves and people who won't prepare to make that possible. Have had the same idea about growing wild hidden food as you. Enoyed your vid and lots of good info here. Appreciate you sharing your knowledge.

  • Never dowhat this clown advocates. First you need 10 times the acreage of the average person . Second every coon and critter will eat it before you can harvest anything. Third do you want to walk 2 miles a day lugging water ? He is an idiot . This style was abandoned long ago.....

  • and with your garden you can use it as a bait to harvest the deer, rabbits and such that you want to use for pelts and meat.

  • Enjoyable/informatable vid. I see your cat pays attention as well...

  • Is the cat part of your emergency garden aswell?

  • Your urine will add better fertilizer to the soil so dont give money to those nwo companies when you make the fertilizer natually. Oh and love the vid :-)

  • Great info. Thanks a lot. If you pick varieties of your favorite vegies which are not like what you see in the store they would be even more likely to be overlooked (e.g., red siberian kale instead of the curley kale you see used as garnish or coyote tomatoes with small round yellow tomatoes on low plants. 2) pick varieties good at reseeding themselves next year (sugar baby watermelon, rutabagas, egyptian walking onions). 3) Encourage wild patches of sorrel (vit C), miners lettuce etc.

  • good video and good info. im in SEK as well. ever thought about starting classes? id be interested in classes or whatnot.

  • i like that cat........i hope you don't have to eat him

  • is there follow up vid's of these gardens, i would like to see the end result...

  • O'' your a cat person''' I see....

  • Thanks for sharing friend. I used to live in Pittsburg, KS so probably not too far from you there.

  • thank you. you provided some really useful information.

  • a Fire arm helps keep people outa your garden and you can shoot your neighber and eat them

  • And one suggestion for all, if you do make garden plantings, yes they will atract deer and rabbits. Which are tasty. So harvest them. A garden could be surrounded with a wall of stakes with no gap big enough for a rabbit. Leave a gap and construct a trap from natural branches to catch little morsels trying to get in. You could also use a store-bought one, but disguise it well.

  • Some people just dont get it. When it all goes down, people will try to be nice in some cases but in the end, instinct takes over & people will kill over food.... & THEY SHOULD!

This is how serious I am. I'll have a small garden somewhere, with no trespassing signs, a decoy. Human traps will capture raiders. I'll kill the men, feed them to my dog, maybe partake myself. The women get a choice, my harem or death. Learn what wild edibles R N your area, dont depend on normal veggies.

  • covert survival gardening, in case u don't have a garden and wanna be prepared for SHTF

  • great information! thx a bunch

may the Lord bless your ghetto gardens.

  • ty good looking out for us, learned some tricks

  • damn preppers

  • @1klingklang dam apathetic people

  • @1klingklang Indeed. Remember that when you are dying and I am well fed. My dog will even survive longer than you methinks.

  • VERY VERY fine demo video. This is a HUGE labor saving technique. I tried to describe somewhat on my channel, but you've done a great job showing it. There are a lot of non hybrid seeds on the market that are not labeled as such, and even the hybrids are not generally sterile, but unreliable as to producing the same features or traits, so even the .33 cent pkgs. of seeds are useful. Freezing just ONE non hybrid tomato will yield a LOT of useful seeds. SUPER JOB!

  • why wait start growing all the stuff u need now and when everyone on the bottom is ready we can collapse the top of the pyramid at a time of our choosing.

what are they gonna do use the economic draft? what happens when theres food water and shelter to go around and a ton of people with free time to figure out what to do next

  • I enjoyed this vid a lot and learned some cool stuff too. Keep up the good work.

  • Do you really believe we are going to regress to this point? Why don't we all start dealing with today and the near future? What can we do to make things better today?

  • @sundogforlove Seriously, about the only thing that could make shit this bad would be a zombie plague.

  • so paranoid....

  • LMAO work together are you dumb or something? its going to be every man for himself and every family for there self. there will be no food and water will be hard to get. water that dont have dead bodys in it anyway. goodluck not being ready and trying to find a hand out lol not going to happen. i am ready to go. all i need is 2 rotts and a few guns and i am done. already have my plan and for everything i need. i think its so funny you think everyone will live in harmony and give you stuff

  • @monte1996111 I hate to say it but I do agree, I dont think many will be co existing. I would love to see the world become that but...well...its not very likely.I think just helping family and friend is going to be hard enough let along all the ones that would come to steal. I am working on storage right now, do you know much about gassifier technology??

  • I agree with wonkothermad - working together democractically and community are survival. Survival is done with groups/community. What happens if you get sick or need surgery - hospitals and clinics exist within communities. This is so unrealistic!

  • @plhs987 : It's every man for himself. So I don't like sharing my food and water in a survival situation. If I get sick, I will take myself to the hospital or call the police to come and get me. We all have mobile phones. Right?

  • In a survival situation this sort of food is irrelevant, a few pounds of tomatoes and some lettuce and radishes, nah it will be calories you need the minerals and vitamins you can get from scratching around finding wild foods, dandelions and nettles for example, you would be much better prepared getting a book that identifies the wild foods you can collect. Your woods already contains more nutrition than you have planted. Store cans of corned beef, creamed rice dessert, baked beans and honey.

  • I was raised on a farm and "THERE ARE THIEVES IN THE COUNTRY TOO." Thanks for the great info!

  • Root crops that you could cover over to hide would be good along with this strategy.

  • If you grow for abundance using permaculture and help others recreate on their land then you wouldnt need to hide your food for survival, plus their is also the ability for foraging for nuts, berries and herbs that you can use in wild situations

  • Thanks for sharing. What tomato variety do you plant?

  • What I want to know is, can you tie a few useful knots, know first aid, etc. Cos, Dude, you are gonna fall apart for sure.

  • What crops do well in winter and what crops do well in spring, summer?

  • Every thought of a solar powered aquadroponics setup? Selfsufficient no herbicides pesticides fertilizer or power required.

  • good tips to grow weed without being spotted by the cops! XD

  • This country was made great because of the pursuit of the individual, collectively, not by the collective or some social justice type garbage, that was contradictory to early American ideology, though many had a servants heart since they were 99% Christians who practised what they preached, later on though, the country grew when immigrants came for a better live and many ended up quite rich. Impossible now since taxes & regulations have destroyed the economy, Obama made it far worse!

  • Hybrid seeds are not sterile. Some GMO seeds are, but that's not the same as GMO.

  • @ChrisGilliam39 I mean hybrid is not the same as GMO.

  • great video, I learned a lot, another idea is to just start scattering seeds everywhere in the woods around youre home, plant hundreds or thousands of them, in 6 months food will just be scattered everywhere.

  • @whtswrngwthupeople Most veggie plants won't make it without human care. Some trees and shrubs such as plums, Nanking cherrys, Goumi, etc..., and a vine like Maypop would do well after being established. Sweet potatoes may do well...

  • молодець піндос.

  • Great work mate. Love to you and yours! I agree with everything ;-)

  • Great work mate. Love to you and yours!

  • I've never had any deer eat anything in the nightshade family--tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, etc. When the shit hits the fan your money will buy you nothing because there won't be any, everything else will be useless, only food for survival will be needed--the Bible tells us so, believe it or not--the end is coming, look at the signs predicted years ago in the Bible, pay attention,it'll come like a thief in the night just like that Tsunami did--the good will stick together be watchful & wait!

  • looks like an elaborate way to feed deer and rabbits....

  • Don't stop, plant far and wide, and as quick as possible great luck everyone, as for hiding, if you plant enough no worries, far and wide and as quick as possible, harder faster better stronger, all the best!

  • No garden there, but a beautiful tasty looking tomato yum yum.

  • some good ideas mate but i'm sorry that you feel it necessary to hide your growing to prevent stealing. Individualism is a huge reason why humanity is in such a mess. we have to come together in 'end times' my friend. work together to help each other. i'm alright jack keep your hands off my stack is not the way. we tried that and all we got was bankers, generals and politicians. if we treat 'end times' as purely survival we shall surely perish along with them. love and peace and trust dude

  • @wonkothemad We should all create gardens together

  • @wonkothemad socialism doesn't work in large groups of people. It only works in small, limited groups where the majority are familiarly related. People will always work for themselves when it's their ass on the line...not so much when it's someone they don't even know.

  • @wonkothemad yeah mate i agree 100% i was gonna write a comment the minute he said that but you beat me to it :P

  • Comment removed

  • @wonkothemad man you must be crazy, do you realize that only like 4% of the populatiom is able to feed themselves?? do you have any idea what it would be like when the supply chain shuts down?? It will be blood in the streets!!! This guy is right, you must have a secret back-up

  • @wonkothemad WHEN HUNGER STRIKES AND KIDS START CRYING , THAT ROSY PINK GLASSES AND AND SINGING CUMBAYA FLYS OUT THE DOOR REAL QUICK.

  • @wonkothemad say you spend what little you have on a garden and someone comes and steals all of it leaving you with nothing to starve. If the world were butterflies and hippies we could share but when it comes time people will do ANYTHING to save themselves including stealing what they can and leaving you to die. Sad but true. Even in a community there will always be someone to pinch the stash out of greed and selfishness.

  • @wonkothemad Hello Wonk,

Well......your an idiot. While you and your group are all holding hands and chanting you will be taken advantage of! IF SURVIVAL TIMES DID OCCUR, It wouldn't be a camping trip, when people are hungry and you have food in a nice big collective garden you can count on it being taken away. I am not at all a mercenary or militant, but if you have food and I don't you are in big trouble. I would assume that if you were hungry you would do the same.

  • @reddesertrider1

Rick will shoot you dead too!

  • @wonkothemad How in the hell can you compare a man like me to a damned banker. I have taken the time to prepare for the worst. Spending my hard-earned money on education & preparation just to turn around and share it with a world full of genetically inferior people like you? Are you stupid! If you do not prepare you deserve to die. In fact I plan to actively hunt men who did not prepare & feed them to my dog. So please knock on my door when the time comes. What a complete moron!

  • @wonkothemad believe me......when it starts going down hill fast your best friends will kill you to get food. You sound like some pie in the sky nut job. Love, peace and lava lamps will not help you

  • @wonkothemad No one is going to be thinking that way, when it comes to starving, and going hungry. If people can't get along now, what makes you think a dire situation will change anyone now?.

  • @wonkothemad Lotta truth in what you say there , wonko, but where i come from folk would most likely leave his boring old crop and steal that roavator.

  • Great video!

  • Will my survival garden include a cute curious kitty too? Thank you for the video. : )

  • great survival technique thanks for this great video.

  • BUY BJL HEIRLOOM SEEDS!!! Thanks for the vid NFS2NWO

  • But practically speaking, will this produce enough food to become completely self-sustainable? You'd need to plant hundreds of these secret gardens to feed one family! For example, rice requires 100 square feet, takes 4-5 months, to finally produce 10 lbs of rice which would last less than a week for a family.

  • a backyard garden is great, we had one. However, the elite evil people of the world have already thought about how people could survive with a garden, and have preempted an attack, globally- making it illegal to have a garden- AGENDA 21! Whats the reason? well, you may not be an expert in this field, and may even try to sell or give away food, not been inspected by authorities, so AGENDA 21 will fix this problem. If you have a garden, make sure its away from your property.

  • @MartinGN43 AJ FEARMONGERING BULLSHIT

  • Very well done, thanks for that !

  • Thank you for the video, I've been thinking about this for some time now, so, I'm glad I found your video....Good job.

  • brilliant

thank you for making this awesome video

    stay safe

  • Thank you very much, great video with good advice

  • very nice vid thank you for sharing your knowledge

  • The cat's the star of the video for sure..lol

  • @EyesWideOpen2Truth I'd eat that cat if I had to.

  • Great VIdeo! Could you give some advice on the types of seeds that will thrive in this environment (you said lettuce, tomatoes, radishes) but what else? I also live in the hills/mountainous area, Thanks.

  • Good info thanks

  • I've grown a lot of reffer in wooded gardens such as these and as far as the deer and rabbits go, if you keep a gallon jug of kerosene stashed near and when you do go to the gardens just splash a little kero all the way around the garden and the deer and rabbits wont cross that line. In Maine, where I used to live, I had a lot of deer coming into my "regular garden" and eating the beans. I used the same method and never had any more problems. I would watch the deer come up to the line and stop.

  • nice!!!!!

  • Thank you very much for posting his

  • Good vid, my fellow Kansan! Thanks!

"Without food, you're screwed." How shrewd!! lol

    Blessings! :0) Juvie

  • Great Tips ,Thanks

  • Great Tips ,Thans

  • I like your ideas! I have also thought about that if we start gardens all around our cities now there won't be such a rush for food in the future under distress. I have been contacting local areas including churches and businesses about starting local community gardens. If food is already available in the community and everyone knows about it there doesn't have to be a rush for food... think about it. There are lots of people willing to start gardens now!

  • @Lmoseley0726 Excellent ideas !!! Let your "LIGHT" so shine for HIS glory !!!

  • @NWOIS666 Thanks! I don't know about everywhere, but here in the south there are churches every block or so... Churches all have land available. It just takes people and it would be great for youth projects.

  • @Lmoseley0726 Within 1000 yards of my home there are 6 churches, 6 ! Imagine what they could provide for the community. They are too busy having hot dog sales, yard sales bazarres etc. Most are nothing more than houses of money changers. Very few if any teach the pure undefiled WORD of YHWH ! They teach only what they have been taught through the cemetary, lol, I mean seminary. lol

  • @NWOIS666 Well they just haven't thought about it yet... When I talked to a pastor recently about the idea he said "he loved the idea and wondered why he had never thought of it." I believe that freely grown and given food is the best way to reach the community. Again if they all had them then there would be no concern over food shortages or people trying to steal from homegrown garden. Love is the goal!
