I am from Canada and it is false to say that we are trying to get away from universal health care. The only people against it is people thinking they can make money off other peoples health misfortune.
When industries get large enough, they have to be taken over democratically so that EVERYONE has an equal right to it. Education, Postal services, Policing, Fire departments, and Military are all socialized organizations.

They probably don't even realize that many Americans are so ill informed that they don't know that Europeans, Canadians, et al LOVE their universal health care and would never allow a sick and immoral system like America's.
