  • Doctors are the most overlyromanticized occupation in the history of Western culture. What they do is romanticized and who they are is a creation on television and movies. The truth is they are human beings as corrupt, greedy, elitist, and subversive as any other occupation and America has to stop romanticizing these people and demand our money back or sue when when of these monsters hurts us.If a doctor hurts you sue; if he doesn't help don't pay.The revolution is near for these wealthy elites

  • Im glad now the GOV. is making it where everyone can afford healthcare, Insurance was very high and it kept going up higher and now everyone will be able to see a Dr. and take care of themself and not the GOV take care of them on welfare. love and PEACE!

  • I am from Canada and it is false to say that we are trying to get away from universal health care. The only people against it is people thinking they can make money off other peoples health misfortune.

When industries get large enough, they have to be taken over democratically so that EVERYONE has an equal right to it. Education, Postal services, Policing, Fire departments, and Military are all socialized organizations.

  • Well, if nothing else, idiots like iindependentview1 sure provide a lot of belly laughs to Europeans, Canadians and the British.

They probably don't even realize that many Americans are so ill informed that they don't know that Europeans, Canadians, et al LOVE their universal health care and would never allow a sick and immoral system like America's.

  • @diezungen When you make a comment in reply to someone at least have the guts to reply directly to the person. I guess all the Europeans and Canadians going to other countries for health care are a signal of how much they love their socialist programs. You do not have the right to have other people pay your bills. If you want health insurance then go out and get some yourself.

  • @independentview1

Only a fool would believe such tripe as you have just posted. I have European in-laws and a number of Canadian friends. None of them would think of leaving their first-world socialized systems to risk their lives trying out a for-profit third-world system like America's.

Why am i even bothering to respond to an idiot like you? May you enjoy your shortened lifespan... courtesy of America's third-world health care system.

  • @diezungen If you enjoy being a slave under Socialism then move to Europe and be content and happy to be a slave.

  • @independentview1

    Ah,yes. Typical right wing hyperbole.

Were you born an idiot or did you take lessons? Yes, I shall continue enjoying my state of "slavery" by enjoying public utilities, public roads, public libraries, public parks and all other forms of "socialism" deemed "slavery" by propagandized idiots such as yourself. And I eagerly await the day when Americans have the same right to health care now enjoyed by citizens of all civilized countries.

  • @diezungen From the Telegraph in London, TODAY, Axe falls on NHS Services.

"Some of the most common operations — including hip replacements and cataract surgery — will be RATIONED as part of attempts to save billions of pounds, despite government promises that front-line services would be protected."

"Plans to cut hundreds of thousands of pounds from budgets for the terminally ill"

"The closure of nursing homes for the elderly"

    Socialism at work.

  • Europe, England and Canada are trying to get out of forced "free" health care and these guys want us to take on a system that has been shown again and again all over the world to fail.

You do not have the right to steal from others to get your "free" health care.

  • @independentview1 well then you must be happy that you aint getting any health care then. Or any care at all.

  • @Teadon86 I have a great health insurance plan and have never had the smallest problem with the coverage.

  • Then you're obviously the one of the lucky then. But don't force such an inhumane system on peoples whom got no other choice in life then either choosing between robbery or waiting on death in a corridor in some 'hospital'. Obviously don't know much about, lets say, Lenin. Please what do you know about Lenin? What do you know about Eduard Bernstein? Have you read anything about Ayn Rand? Anything by Noam chomsky then? Have you read the book Welfare of nations by Adam smith? You ignorant moron

  • @Teadon86 No book or beliefs from the past 500 years or more have been responsible for the deaths of more people than Lenin. Tens of millions of people have been starved, worked to death or outright butchered because of Lenin. What a far better world we would have if he had never existed. Only sick, twisted, hateful people hold up Lenin as some hero of mankind.

  • Well now Lenin ain't a nice fellow. Part from he was an right wing extremist he killed peoples and crushed unions and more. Wrong again. What you believe are communism that killed around, in Soviet alone, 20 millions due to politics, famine, wars and prosecutions among others. The WWII killed 20 millions Russians. But what you claim that no other belief have killed as many the last 500 years are a lie. Many religions and right wing politics have killed well above 200 millions the last 500 years

  • Also what have been claimed to be left wing politics and revolutions have not in fact been any such. Saloth Sar are claimed to be a left wing dictator when he and the red khmeras moved into take power they saw a threat from the communists that they themselves helped in the war against US in Vietnam. I mean I don't how you can believe a person or a party that claims to be something but moves against their claims own believes, example being that if you claim you're a leftist but are not.

  • Americans seems to have the habit of falling for whatever they see on TV and working against their own best interest. Seize the moment and incorporate real prevention and alternative health care in a new single payer system.

  • Yes, time for America wake up to the 21st century, join the human race and stop living in the stone age like a bunch of ignorant cavemen. Heck they were probably smarter than us. They knew the importance of sharing risks, helping each other, working together for the good of all, as opposed to the "every man for himself attitude" of many "modern...civilized" people in the U.S.

  • Now is the time for Single Payer!
