When Russia invaded first Poland and executed thousands of Polish officers, then invaded Finland, Russia should have been treated as the Axis power that it was. Remember, England and France had promised to protect Poland. However, the western nations were too cowardly to properly oppose the rising evil that was the Soviet Union, and we can still feel the backlash of that inability to confront evil in the existence of the communist state of North Korea.

@Go1andec - I don't need to touch the name of the Soviet Union, now do I? History speaks for itself. We know that Stalin killed at least 20 million of his own people, and likely more, if the people who died in the gulags are also considered. He was a monster who killed many millions of people more than Hitler. Far from saving Europe, the Soviet Union ruthlessly dominated the lands its armies trod upon, usurping freedoms from behind an Iron Curtain of violence and deceit.

@Go1andec -- The Polish were not cowards by any means. They were prepared to staunchly defend their nation. The Soviet Union, in contrast, invaded Poland 16 days after the Nazis invaded, with no declaration of war. Poland did not stand a chance. Also, your use of a racial slur is an indication of egregious ignorance.

Russia could barely defeat Finland in the Winter War, a nation many times smaller than Russia, and Russia was embarrassed in WWI when a single German army commanded by Hindenburg destroyed the invading Russian armies. Russia would eventually lose, and cede great swathes of territory to Germany, despite the fact that it was one of 16 Allied nations facing 4 Central Powers, and despite the fact that Germany was fighting on two fronts.

@raab155 Stalin represented his own self interests and policies (Stalinism). Not real Communism. But they fought on anyway. The Russian people and soldiers fought on even when they're own government was spitting on them.

@MasterAdam100 Marx and Engels were the maker of communist idea. I think it is logic, that they do not wanted to kill milions of people, but they never wrote how communism would look like. The Problem about that idea is, that it says, that all people are the same, while in reality every human is different. Stalin made no excuses and walked over mountains of dead bodies for that goal.

@MasterAdam100 You need to supress the people to accomplish that goal. Stalin also practiced genozid, Estimates of the victims of Stalinism amount of 20 million to 40 million deaths, no one knows exactly how many it was. I just say i winner looks different. But i think it was good, that they won against the nazis, even when the result was the total destruction of germany (my country) and other horrible things.

@shawnjohn115 dude do some research on the Russian T-34 ,the Americans didn't invent the T-34 tank the Ukraines did. - "Mikhail Ilyich Koshkin, and his committee, he thought of the plan and began work in 1934, hence the name T-34. Two prototypes where build in Kharkov Ukraine, and drove to Moscow where they where approved for production by Stalin in 1939, just in time for the war.-" this is what i found on the T-34 so i got my facts and history right. lol
