I have actually had this problem before. My iPod worked fine for ages, when I lock it and then when I next came to look at it it wouldn't come back on. I just left it for a few hours and it then it seemed to turn back on. wierd.
I did try a few of the button sequences like home and power but nothing just try these to see what happens but other than that just leave it.
Ya i waited and it works now thank you. But appula doesn't seem to work for me to download apps from because I have a mac and when they download they are in file folders that won't transfer over to itunes. Any ideas?
The site appulos is very close to being shut down but the owner managed to keep it up if you go over to the website there is more info. The problem is that you need to download firefox. This recognizes the file format and save it correctly unlike safari. you can then open it with iTunes.
Weird, i downloaded the Pwnage tool 2.1 and the firmware 2.1 from your channel and when Pwnage tool tries to find the firmware, it says i don't have it even though it is right on my desktop... i am confused
i have all the stuff but when it askes me to plug it in it wont recognize my touch, and it wont let me click to chose it either

Have you tried plugging it in to your computer?

Check what your verdion is on the general in settings. See if the firmware matches up to it.

i just tried and it worked for me, i have cydia and intaller on the itouch. now i just have to figure out how to get the apps on the itouch.
