Marcus is the top of the tree,, like duke ellington he has incoporated a wide scope as a band leader ,,,however ,, maybe it might be great if Marcus went back to his roots lonnie listen smith ect and the music he broke through with, re discovering raw jazz funk disco for simply what it is,, going on with the grove and finding out where it leads to ,, like herbie hancocks :"actual proof" i still think the ending of Space Princess is one of his most compassionate bass lines

cool interview...but... when are we going to rid the world of that hipster-derived, pathologically distracting "wandering handheld 2nd cam" that's infested every Guffman-esque "reality sitcom" and every hipster-demographic commercial??? it looks like a petulant, self-obsessed a.d.d. child wandering around, oblivious and distracted... which sorta sums up all 20-something media kids and "directors"..
