Sometime this year.. I don't live under normal circumstances at the moment, so all I can say is that there WILL be one.. but it may be a bit later like in the summer, rather than in the spring.. It definetely won't be in the next couple of months, for sure.. :)

Nice B17G Flying Fortress! I built one of those when I was a kid. That was my favorite model. Got it from Thinker Toys in Carmel, Ca while we were on vacation.

Yes, I've always liked that name.. and have had the honour of seeing the real thing in action.. albeit as a bright orange blob on a dark radar screen, but all the same.. and all the more exciting for it.. The Air Force of the former GDR liked to come out and play with us (Swedish Air Force) now and again.. :)

Just a quick question. Do you choose the model, or does the winner and runner up do so? And also when's the next competition? I just figured out why my videos not proscessing!

I selected a few kist from my stash.. and the winner oif 'Best in Show' got the first pick.. and as I had no car kits to give away, I let the dedicated carmodeller who also won a prize take second choice.. after that it was pretty much a first come / first served basis, for picking the kits.. :)

The next competition will be later this year, or early next year.. It's hard work doing these things, and I need a break from it now.. once all the prizes have been sent out!! :)

Well, after the total fiasco of the prizes in KurtGnu's Photo competition (I still feel extremely bad about that one, but it was out of my control) I wanted to make up for it in this competition.. I've already been told twice that I've been too generous.. maybe I have, but then again, most kits given I do have more than one off, and this way I cut my stash, (which pleases the wife) while making some other modellers happy too.. so I see it as a win-win situation.. :)
