@HadoukenDave its actually the same way you unlock it in the 64 version, im actually trying to unlock it myself. but to get the landmaster, get a medal (200 kills) on venom 1, and do the same on expert mode to go on foot.

Assault did it better, and had lots of potential with it.

But I just didn't like how it overshadowed entirely the flight missions most of the time. It could have been kept in just multiplayer, like this.

Also unfortunate, because the 3DS remake is not going to have this in its multiplayer (which is entirely redone). Oh well.

@galacticheroman To get the landmaster mode you have to get a medal in Venom on normal mode. To do that you have to take the Star Wolf team down quickly. You have to get 200 points in Venom and taking each of the Star Wolf members quickly gives you about 51 points.
