  • Michaels has a transfer paper that is made for stretchable t-shirts. They work much better than avery papers.

  • RIOT! did you see that on his design? paramore FTW

  • this is lame - doesnt even mention where to get transfer paper to do this.

  • waitt..... You can iron the paperr??? or do you need to put some special paper over it so it doesn't burn?

  • he has the sweetest voice x]

  • WOW it was awesome!!!

  • Only works with ink printers ofcourse, and also, its usually not possible to print white so it is best to print on a white tshirt.

  • @rnarula000

cause you have to re-print it on transfer paper.

  • i just did this xd

  • omfg!

    too freakin amazing(: lol

this is the best of the ones that i've seen too far(:

but hmm wahh kind of paper do you use?

    is like regular white paper?

or the papers that are sorda hard

    but still foldable? o.O

  • @mirifoo you have to use iron on transfer paper. you can find it at craft stores like michaels and tall mouse. XD

  • @mirifoo

you have to use transfer paper

you can find it in craft shops and stuff. it should say something like "t-shirt transfer paper"

  • Awesome XD

iron on stuff is great especially if it is original ^_^

  • what kind of paper is that?

  • DUDE! AWESOME!

  • My experience is that these images don't last long. 2-3 machine washes and your image is cracked and broken and you may have ink washed out.

I've had more success with printing out mulitple images on one paper and cutting them out and placing them on areas that don't stretch, so the glue part is smaller and less likely to disintegrate at the edges. Hope this helps!

  • Be grunge and don't wash it XD

if someone tells you you smell you just say "THATS THE SMELL OF STYLE!"

    :D

and remember, febreeze will always be your friend

  • Make sure you use a cotton base fabric, as any other man-made fabric (like polyester or nylon) won't stick to the transfer paper.

If your image has a lot of white, the white part is going to just be the glue and will look noticeably different from your white t-shirt.

Wash it by hand or if you must machine wash it, make sure you turn it inside out and put it on GENTLE. One wash and if you have any color, the ink from your image is going to BLEED on your shirt at the sides.

  • I've tried many different t-shirt transfer papers, Avery makes a bunch of different kinds. The regular one is for WHITE t-shirts only, as they make special transfer paper for dark fabric.

Even though it looks great when you do it, if your fabric has a lot of stretch it's gonna crack your image.(Because the glue sticks to the fabric and it doesn't stretch.)

  • Muy inspirador...gracias¡¡¡

  • cutie

    real good for beginners

  • Excellant tutorial, I was in the mood to do something artsy after work, I'll hafta give this a shot. Does this work for any other colored shirts, or only white?

  • this was pretty awesome

  • I love it!! I chose to do t-shirts because they are so useful!!

  • Screen-printing FTW... Don't really like iron-ons....

  • I don't get how this works. Is it special paper?

  • @jubilantJOSEFINE yep; @ 1:50 he says [t-shirt] transfer paper

  • FLYING LOTUS <3 great tutorial

  • n'awwr you're cute and this was hnady!

  • ***** :)

  • he looks like sucha softy!:)

  • home made iron ons don't work very well.

when you put em in the wash the picture gets all cracked. i personally think screen printing works best. =]

  • ya but not all of use have the space for screen so you just have to hand wash like some of us do with our frillies then iron ons can last and you can visualize your end prouduct a bit easier (i like up the side looks so iron on all the way)

  • @kitkat7bar7sk8er

have you tried hand washing ?

  • doesnt it wash off?

  • not you hand wash or just plain treat them like ladie frillies

  • COOL!

  • What brand of paper is it? I bought some at walmart and tried to do the transfer but it was an EPIC FAIL.

  • yeah and do you use normalo ink aswell?

  • thats cool ill try it

  • show your friends how freakin cool you are. lol i love that

  • Bravo!

  • i love this one

  • transfer paper will end up plasticky on the t shirt or.... not?

  • It could. That's why you need to add a lot of heat and pressure.

  • Feels like any other graphic t-shirt would feel like. Smooth, glossy.

  • i like this one :D

  • how would you wash the shirt?

  • By Turning it backwards...I think.
