  • yep these things are crazy my mom used to talk about these (she worked at power plant as an accountant) did that for 27 years. used them on outtage (downtime for repairs.)

  • that is one of the most bad ass trucks i have seen

  • The song is "The Drive", by Alexander Perls. You can download, look just below the video, on the right.

  • what song??

  • Wide Load??? Stuff me that's nothing. I carry a wider load every time my sister-in-law gets in my car. :-))))

  • The 35 axle is not stated by me, or anyone else. That is what the Company who makes this trailer calls it. You need to contact them if you don't think it is a 35 axle.

  • Bulky, but not really heavy? It seemed to start and stop quickly.

  • WOW!!! This is the BIGGEST heavy-load trailer I've ever seen!!

It's also the first double-wide i ever saw.

  • It is carrying a jet turbine engine to be used to create electricity. (The center portion, covered up)

  • OK thats big, one question? What the heck is it?

  • It's working here, now Jimmy. Try again.

    Thanks

    frank

  • Video is not working.

  • i'd say that's just a tad big!!!(just joking, its a frickin huge load!!!)

  • OMG This went down the highway WOW

  • WOW

  • SHIT --------- that's a big 'un

  • ITS HOT!

  • Wow. I know damn well that driver is getting paid a HELL of alot of money

  • where does a turbine engine that size go into

  • possibly a supertanker or warship, just a few possibilities

  • I am pretty sure the turbine will be used for a "peaker plant". The plant will generate electricity during the summer "peak hours". The San Joaquin Valley get hots in the summer, people use the most electrictity then. It will be tied in to the local electric & gas utility company, to help meet that load.

They will use natural gas from that same electric and gas utility company to run the turbine. There are several like this in the valley.

  • If i was driving it then I would park infront of a store and they could NEVER tow me:)!!!

  • wow

  • LMAO good one

  • this trailer is big the oversize load were i live i think there have of their size

  • wooww!! wath a aimpresive load!!!!

  • thats what she said!

  • hahahahah thats fuckin funny!

  • In Australia, they need 40 more axles, twice as long of a trailer, and 4 more trucks to move a load that big.

  • Its 24 axles for the front and 24 for the back. That makes 48 axles.

48 axles and 192 wheels (counting every tire) or 96 dubble wheels.

  • just for fun les figure 5 seconds to "thump" each wheel for our pre-trip. Thats 5 seconds times 192 tires = 16 minutes!

  • Yup, thats why its a manly trailer ;)

  • I count 15 axles in front and 15 in back each axle on the trailer having 4 tires. and counting the two 3 axle trucks. that is 30. can you point out the other 3 axles. i do not see them. STILL a cool video and impressive move. Thanks for sharing.

  • You can tell that you don't know what you are talking about This is a trunion trailer each set of tires are on it's own axle Plus you count the axles on the truck and on the push truck. So before you comment on something you may want to do your homework.

  • it is counted as different axles, that is the reason it is called a duel lane transporter each axle is seperate in order to get maximum weight, they are side by side with a 6 ft bridge between the left and right. How can there be a 6 ft bridge between if it wasn't seperate axle a duel lane transporter is no different than a 13 axle you total the axles down each side plus the pusher and puller like any other heavy haul trailer know before you speak My husband has pulled this trailer for 4 years

  • well good for your husband, i guess he works for contrators then, I have been doing this sort of thing for almost 14 years and that includes driving ordering permits for standard and duel lane and wheelers, trus me I know what Iam talking about

  • @cjtnnr12 like i said before, its an 18 axle!12 axle trailer, plus 6 axles for the trucks!your math is ALL over the place, and totally wrong.axles are counted from the side view,PERIOD!please explain to us how you came to the 35 axle conclusion?are you drunk?

  • @308scoutrfl no sorry i don't drink sorry, think what ever you want. I know what it is.

  • @cjtnnr12 you said "you total the axles down each side, plus the trucks".please enlighten us.does not compute silly girl.you dont know.sorry.be safe out there with your billion axle.

  • @308scoutrfl look it up it is a dual lane transporter

  • @308scoutrfl its 26 axels counting the 2 trucks

  • what they calls those long loads with person in back steering

  • maybe you should know b4 you speak

  • Look again real close!

  • thats 18 axles, not 35!

  • not so hot

  • wow nice
