The book has a great sadistic/humorous tone, you've stripped it of that by having a surreal and morbid, not mention rushed telling of his recollection. Its more flashbacks than it is him just telling everything. For a trailer this seems more like a pet project someone would do a one-shot deal with, just being blunt, sorry if I offend.

Ignore the jsuglia comments. I looked up "the greatest author in the world" he wrote a screenplay for an AWFUL movie! Look him up guys. Look up his movie on IMDb. It's called Watch Out. The book trys really really hard to shock people. This man is posting on Chuck Palahniuk videos. He TRYS to write like Palahniuk, yet he goes around posting nasty comments on anything Palahniuk related. I think someone's jealous.

I think this is very well done; however, it's not the way i would like to see a version of survivor filmed. the humor is gone, which is one of the most important aspects of palahniuk's work. ease up on the tone a little, inject some humor into it, and you would really have something here. you definitely have talent as a filmmaker though. stick with it!

wow man, i gotta say... that was a lot better than i expected. for a no budget fan movie, that was amazing. its exactly the type of cinematography id imagine a real movie of this book might have. very, very well done bro.

just one criticism: the distortion on the flight recorded voice is a little too intense. it kinda hurt my ears. it would be cool if you could tone it down a notch.

Ever hear an actual "black box" recording of the last words of a man that died while trying to right a plane load of people? Women,children,fathers,single lonely people that are just on the way home to people that love them? The microphones are not designed to record the newest U2 album,just meant to record the moments that a few pilots make some decisions that may save a few lives.

There's no reason to attack his words of criticism. Criticism is not always a negative thing. I have to agree with selfademus's comment...the hotline setup does seem poorly thought out, meaning the way it was portrayed was not how I nor many people would have thought it to be from reading the book.

On a side note: I heard from a few sources, I'm not sure how reliable they are, that a film rendition of Survivor is to be expected sometime in 2010.
