  • India is the source of our culture, as much if not more than anything classic greco-roman or even the Bible, and its stories indeed are the source of many of our oldest ones preceeding Grimm and Andersen by millenia; the humble and wise little guy who penetrates the oger's palace in the forbidden place and, through cunning, manages to come out unharmed and with a mission accomplished

  • most fucked up video ever!

  • so is this beleived to be true or just story-telling?

  • @mrgx141 -- yes..if u can't understand...otherwise a story which is thousands of years old..can't be still around

  • hanuman is such smart

  • Is this High tec in india? xD HAH !

  • That drama is over 20 years old

  • @lolbf2

    1. This was produced before you were born (yes, I can guess that much by the childish remark you have made), with the little technology and budget available (unlike to the StarWars types), without working with world class technicians (as Spielberg would have while making Jaws).

    2. The main point is not technological superiority, but the message behind this whole ancient story (which tells what havoc is caused by "vanity" when countered by politeness and respect to others).

  • @lolbf2 1991 is when it came out..

  • श्री राम जे राम जे जे राम

  • Parantooo... mushti ka parantooo... JAI SHRI RAM!

  • @diliprai

Interesting link from historical and anthropological point of view. I don't know who marked your comment as a "Spam."

People cannot welcome a healthy discussion about anything that is connected with "religions" and religious matters.

    Pity.

I have marked your comment as "Not Spam."

  • @diliprai interestingg

  • pehle tu bata... tu kaun hai?

  • kaun hai tu, jo isprakar lanka nagri main goosa chala jaraha hai

  • i think because the legacy fortold that ram was the one who was supposed to do it. Sita said this when she and hunuman were talking in the garden.

  • why did Hanumanji NOt taken Ravana's life as he was asleep or there and then ? Best opportunity, don't you think ?

  • check the song in this video.

"He is the evil one who abducted Mother Sita

Why not I take his life, he thought

And then .. he reflected anew ...

Hanuman is not worthy of this, he concluded"

in my opinion, i think he is saying that he is not worthy of doing his lord's task

  • That is not how a brave one fights.., if it was like that..vishnu could easily kill rawan in an instant with is sudarshan chakra (Disc). He didn't needed an army..but that is what Ramayan all is about..it sets a standard for us..about how we should live.. an important aspect in this is fulfilling Dharma, Bhakti etc.

That is the lesson what one could learn from Ramayan.

    Jai Shri Ram

  • Hey Ossammie, U'll get the answer if u hear the dohas being played in the backgroundwhen Sri Hanumanji is watching Ravana. It says that Hanumanji felt like killing him the moment he saw him but felt that he dosent deserve the right to kill him, Lord Sri Rama has it.

  • i thought love and war are amongst equals and a sleeping ravana is not equal to hanumanji, there would be no devine valoure in killing a sleeping deffenless opponent no matter how evil he is. just my oppinion ,im just begining to convert so i might not contain the wisdom of others so i might be wrong.

  • jai shri ram!

  • hanuman is right
