  • @BingX14.. do u smoke weed? :))

  • whats a good substrate other then aspen-i thinks it a bitch to clean

  • duuuuuuuude. fucking expendables. Snewky...

  • How long is it

  • Did ur snake bit u? And was it like a bee sting?

  • Cool video man and great tang well I just got me a baby Cali king snake please check my video in my channel and help on how to take care of it and do they bite? Plus does it hurt? Thanx again :)

  • @subdiicee If they do bite, it hurts about as much as a bee sting, not anymore, if that.

  • Dam I want that nice decor..so expensive round here

  • u should get a desert king next

  • I like my desert king snake haha

  • awesome king. i'm looking into adopting one and was checkin out people's set ups.

  • how much do you feed him? cause im quite a newb in this :P

  • i have that rug but i put aspen on it so poo never gets on the rug and i would just bring the rug up with the bedding on it and throw itm away and reuse the rug

  • nice vid man i like ur kingsnake

  • Hey i was wondering, (sorry for noob question :D) But can I take it out of the cage just to hold it and stuff like that? or should I only do it when feeding and stuff?

    Thanks

  • @TheMorLhach of course you can :) i take this snake out and hold him for an hour at a time most times i take him out, just dont hold the snake after its been fed until a day or 2 has past

  • @BingX14 okay :) thank you

  • only problem with using carpet as a substitute to substrate is that you can't clear the poo up as well

  • @keightley2011 the first poop i try to remove best as i can but after the 2nd poop has been taken i take the carpet out, and wash it. ive got like 3 carpets to alternate between when one needs to be washed

  • @BingX14 yeah, that is best thing to do, but i like to get it out straight away, plus she can bury herself in the substrate, i have carpet for my small lizards but i prefer substrate for snakes, nice vivarium, plenty of space and hides

  • nice tank, what floor is that?

  • it looks like my cali king snbake, but mine is female

  • what a lovely and magnifegsent snake i am hopefully getting one soon. how old is he if you dont mind me asking?

  • You have to much things in there

  • @Abven9 because i use a reptile carpet as a substrate, he cant burrow down under under the substrate like he would if i used something like aspen shavings (which im allergic to) so because he cant burrow, i like to have extra things in the tank so he can feel like he can still be well hidden if he chooses.

  • @BingX14

would they use sticks or bamboo??

  • @Abven9 i think its just right.

  • thats pretty b a a man of fish and snakes i got a 125 galon tank with arowana red tail pcock bass and a black ghost knife but im thinking of turning my 2 gallon to s snake tank what kind of small snake should i get?

  • lol! i think it's kinda funny that i watched your crtb videos because i just got a baby crtb.. and then i looked at what other vids you had and saw that you have a california king snake too, like me :P those are the only two snakes i have :) ps: LOVED the rescue story about Ava.. she deserves to be treated like a queen like all other animals!

  • Hey do you think you can help me set up a tank? i dont know what i need. Im getting a king snake and its going to be a 10 gallon for its first year. But i dont know what to i need. I was going to get a undertank heater but people said something about a cool and warm areas? so like can i get a 5 gallon undertank heater and keep it one one side and let that be the "warm" side or what? lol

  • was that sublime in the background or 311?

  • i named my snake oreo :)

  • nice snake, do u not use subtrates in ur viv?

  • nc setup.... :)

  • lovely video! i want to get a cal king real soon.

  • @AnticitizenOne Thank You! yeah you really should they are really awesome snakes!

  • Have have the same breed of snake. Mine is male too, I've had him now for 3 years. I'm not sure if he's fully grown, he was still a baby when I got him. I started him out in a 20 gallon tank, however I moved him into a 40 gallon. Seemed like he was stressed in the 20 gallon, he got a little too long for it. So far he's been content in the 40 gallon. And he'll have too be, because that's the biggest tank I can give him haha! I love my Sneaky Stripes!

  • @Daan0001

Read the description for age and as he said in the video it's a confirmed male king cal!

  • if i have a 10-15 gallon tank and i got a 75 wot bulb would that not be good?

  • @yboben depends, if the snake is under a year old, a 15 gallon tank would be fine. Once they reach about 2 feet though, you want to move the snake out of a 10-15 gallon and into a 20 gallon long.

  • That snakes cool:D

  • hi, first of all wow...wot a beauty you've got, shes really big...comparing to mine which is only 1 and a half years old..i wanted to ask you how often do you handle her? and has she ever bitten you?? when i want to handle mine, shes always on the attacking position..and also how often do you feed her? thanks

  • thank god i surfed youtube im getting a cali king snake as my first snake and was woundering if a 20 long would do since some one is selling one for 50bucks at my local pet store whats the luck

    NICE CALI

    GREAT VID 5/5

  • awesome! yeah a 20 long is perfect for a Cal King, good luck with your new snake! post a video sometime

  • will they be happy in a 4 feet long wood tank

  • yeah most definitely! thats more than enough room for a Cal King

  • I have more questions than i know where to begin with, I've got a video finalizing now of the issue i have with my setup, but im trying to setup my tank for a Californian king. I'm having a bit of a time with temps / humidity levels. If you could please when you get a moment, check out of my video with my problems, it pretty much explains all of my questions. I'll have it up in the next half hour and will post a link.

  • is that sand or cardboard in the tank?

  • neither, its zilla astroturf. Its basically a reptile carpet thats really really absorbent and easy to clean. Id say this is one of my favorite substrates to use for my 2 snakes, along with aspen shavings which are great as well

  • sounds cool

    Ill look that up :)

  • thanks dude, Merry Christmas!
