It was a charity event to benefit inner city children. The money he would have lost goes to the charity.

Shane is a very bright and articulate speaker (I have met and spoke to him on several occassions) , however that night he was not well prepared for the red carpet and Eebony caught him 'off-guard'.

I think Shane was age 35 at the time of this interview. He's 37 or 38 now and he recently pounded Antonio Margarito. -- EM
