  • I like the one at 0:12

  • @103rhsur the guys at SJC are super nice and make great drums also. I've talked with all three of those brands and Shine definitely was the worst.

  • Is it true that they had to close ?!

  • They look good how do they sound? What's with the off set lugs how does that affect the sound?

  • This kind of shit is for drummers in emo bands and *Hank Hill* New wave pop. ahhhh bobbeh. Stick with the big brands so you know you're getting quality!

  • :O Holy shit this shit is so expensive

  • omg........ i think i just had a drumgasm O_O

  • sjc,shine

  • Shine went out of business PASS THIS ON so people don't keep loosing their money to these assholes who won't reimburse!

  • acrylic shells are extruded cylinders or are laminated, rolled and glued???

  • these look tight, but how do they sound in a room without mics?

  • I want 0:55 My name (:

  • Half those kits are fuckin' hideous.

  • @nbryc I know seriously...haha.

  • wow

  • amazing

  • if you want shine drums just order a ludwig classic maple in the sizes you want then customize it how you want visually, the shells are the exact same, they're just keller shells

  • @khaostheory117 except Ludwig make their own shells

  • I have to admit there snares are fucking powerful!

  • shine vs truth?

  • DW RULES

  • Shine bass drums are freaking amazing. Very light, and they are deep and low-toned... I freaking love them.

  • @drummer4life2014 its keller is whats good

  • TRUTH ALL THE WAY!

  • @whophead007 ya they r sick to but like $1300 for a bass drum :| really? and that for just a basic one

  • hey its FTSK's kit at 0:50, well I think at least

  • @CarsonCrezee yeah it looks like it a lot haha! i think he uses mapex though, but maybe he does use shine

  • @LTY124 yeah i'm not sure but at least in Whoah and She's a lady music videos he does

  • @CarsonCrezee you were right, he's on their website as a shine endorser, but i thought i saw one where he used mapex, but then again he could've just had a different bass drum head than a shine head

  • SHINE ONLY WANTS YOUR MONEY DONT ORDE FROM THEM

  • @ihatechristine69 i got a different custom kit, but i have curiosity on what you said

  • @dannyss29 i know a drummer personaly who is sponsered by them so he sent in his money for his set and has still not gotten it and he sent his money in december

  • @ihatechristine69 actually with shine you get what you pay for. they make there shells very well

  • @TheJackass347

Shine doesn't make their own shells... And they are a pretty shitty company. Very over priced, flaws in finishes, flaws in the bearing edges, and shitty customer service. They are just not very well made drums.

  • @pearlzthebest You'll be hard pressed to find any drum company that actually makes their own shells. The industry standard here in the US is to use US made Keller Maple shells from NH. With these "custom" drum companies it's all about looks, not the sound quality.

Shine Drums is actually a very good company. And if you had problems with the finish or edges you should have just sent it back, But most companies are turning to factory kits made over seas including OCP..made in China lol

  • @pearlzthebest dude they have amazing customer service they always help me out and r really nice to me and hook me up dude maybe they dont like u :|

  • @TheJackass347 they don't make their shells

  • @ihatechristine69 I use a shine and its the best sounding kit I ever played on, you had bad experiance with shine?

  • dude dont order from shine. I ordered a snare and they wouldnt even send it to me. it took like 4 monthes for them to end up sedning my money back.

  • out of key you mean

  • haha yeah

  • i love that kiy at 1:01 :)

  • how do you hang the toms with that system?

  • I think every tom comes with a stand that attaches to a cymbal stand, floor toms come with a cradle stand, hope that helps :)

  • they are missing the clip so depends usually tom stand searche dw gauge rimms on google imaghes you'll see what i mean

  • what do you mean? message me back Im a Shine artist I can answer any questions you have.

  • they have a different mouting system on the toms how do they work?

  • Comment removed

  • nah thats just the standard DSS that comes on all of Shine's racks, like petercaveney the mount comes like that and you have to put a bracket on it. Its just a cheaper Gauger mount.

  • i still don`t know how it works.

i want to buy a kit but if i don`t know what system they use i don`t get them

  • @clance13 theres a piece missing

  • que chingonas baterias estan poca madre

  • i like the drums but not the owner sean hes just after your money. they sound amazing though

  • woooooooww

  • i just got my custom set,

    its amazing.

i got a white satin laquer base coat on the shells. and all my hardware is a blue powder coat.

    i love them,

  • how do u custom make one

  • Go on their website and order to whatever specs you want, simple.

  • Haha. Destine! Dutch band. I saw Robin getting his Shine kit at one of the vids. Awesome kit : )

  • theyre okay i guess, but truth and sjc are killing them right now... but better than what i have lol

  • lol but if u want really good quility drums for a cheap price go with shine like sjc and truth r great but 2 expensive i have an sjc snare its alright

  • or just buy your own shells and do your own finish

  • or that too

  • no SJC is killing us because of their artist line up and the "butcher" hoop. the butcher hoop fucking sucks they dont hold tension and are cheaply built. Shine is dedicated to making GOOD sound custom drums Sean and his crew do not build anything that will sound bad.

  • I dislike the butcher crap. It's useless and it looks stupid. How a drum sounds should by far be more important than how it looks.

  • thank you thats why Im a Shine artist

  • @SCrawford4 agreed so hard man.

  • my friend Bought a snare from SJC, he paid like 800 n sum dollars for the snare, and he sold it for 500 after a few months cause it sounded like shit. The bevel was45 degrees but some spots it was almost 30 degrees. We fixed that, but the point is, quality sucks threw sjc, i would rather build my own. But shine is spose to be really good.

  • ya shine drums is da best!!!!!

i just got the definition series kit it sound AMAZINGGGGG!!!!!!!

  • i dont have them yet. i ordered a snare only, it will be here in a couple months.

  • @pearlzthebest So, it's been 2 years, has your snare come in yet?

  • Hey Danny! That song sounds strangely familiar....ha. Thanks for posting it! Hopefully you'll use more Ivanrest songs for your videos in the future. I'd like to hear some of those Shine drums. Maybe you could post a video of yours...
