@G4merGuy well the normal weapons you pick up off the ground have a self destruct timer on them. it activates when the weapon is picked up by an infected.

when the guy with the shield comes towards you run back to the fountain where theres no other enemies then kill him i had the same problem

well I don't know what you are playing the game on, but press the button to throw the glaive and then press and hold the button again to go into after touch

well the similarities I'm not surprised with gears of war uses the unreal 3.0 and I believe DS uses a vamped up unreal 2.5 Digital Extremes was going to use the 3.0 but it wasn't available at the time they were working on DS. but Epic does work with Digital Extreme on things like unreal series. Epic were the co-developers. this game reminds me of gears of war, RE4 and the darkness, and uncharted
