Episode: Back to Reality, the closer from Series V.

In this clip, we find the crew experiencing the final stages of a delusion caused by a toxin they were exposed to, which causes its victims to hallucinate that they have no alternative but suicide.

This episode is one of the best of the series, and features among other notable things, the first appearance of the Cat as Duane Dibley, the unfashionable buck-toothed nerd version of his usually suave self.

I hqad heard theyve given up. Llewwlyn said hie isnt terribly interested in playing Kryten anymore and Craig Charles has fallen out of favor with the BBC.

A guy I know who does CGI work for the BBC said the BBC may scrap the current series completely and start over with an entirely new cast.

That's a shame coz the original cast fitted their roles perfectly and is what makes Red Dwarf such a masterpiece, jus look at the US pilot version (here on Youtube) to see what i mean

You know, truth be told, while I admit the US production wasn't AS good, I still liked it. Graig himself met the American lister as a convention and said he did a great job character-wise. His only fault is he was too handsome.

And it was STILL a Grant Naylor production, and I still thought is was a lot better than almost all other American made sci-fi TV today. Better than ANYTHING the Sco-Fi Channel put out the past ten years.
