  • I'm gonna say what my mother says about it, and she is very religious. It should be legal because 2 people can have sex with each other without even introducing themselves, and it is perfectly legal. But if there is an exchange of money, all of the sudden it's not legal? WTF!? It is not about morals, it's about controlling people thru their vices. Which is easier than controlling them thru their virtues.

  • Probably should be legalised, it's not the states business what consenting adults do with their bodies or wallets. Not sure what I'd think of former co workers that gave up jobs to become prostitutes though.

  • So funny how long are the comments here LOL Somewhere else you can see only a few word comments xD

  • @Tibi975 True. LOL. No one is interested in my other topics, only the ones with the words "prostitute" in the title.... hehehehe. I think I should title all my videos "sex-drugs-farts"... I'm sure I'll get a million hits, but very few quallity hits :) Cheers mate.

  • The porn industry is akin to legalized prostitution but put on video and sold to desperate sexless horny fucks such as myself. If real prostitution were legal and brothels widely existed than porn sales would likely go down. Women would quit their jobs and become high paid whores.

  • @Drizzlerman I disagree friend, although some patrons of the porn industry may venture out to real women, many viewers are SOLELY that... they r married or germ freaks or just grossed out by the act of sleeping with strangers. It's one thing to have a fantasy of a gangbang, it's another to partake. I think many women/men would still make a living in the porn industry. The only major change in my mind would b for the current prostitues & current prostitute customers... safer, cleaner, and taxed.

  • @kailabreece Possibly. But if there were brothels and people could pay to have sex then porn may be watched less. Either way the discontented would have an alternative to just porn. The industry of porn will alys make money but if prostitution became legal then it might just make a bit less. I know if a brothel was open in my town then I would likely watch less porn and pay it a visit. I just dislike all of the game playing and courtship in relationships I just want to cum and get on with dying.

  • @Drizzlerman LOL. Ok friend. Well, I guess our answers are very subjective, because I am the type of person who enjoys pornography but has absolutely zero interest in sleeping with a prostitute. Oh well... to each their own. be well my friend.

  • @kailabreece I love porn but if I could I wouldn't mind paying a hot woman to suck or ride my dick. Porn is a lonely pursuit. If I could get a woman to do it for free I would but that is rare. If prostitution were legal then the average person could get sex without being wasted or just being alone and watching porn. Porn is a form of prostitution but is more exclusive and is part of an industry that sells videos for pay although it can be found in clips for free nowadays.

  • @Drizzlerman LOL. I'm sorry you have toruble meeting women... fortunately for me I don't and have a very active sex life... but for those who wish to pursue prostitutes, fine with me. I'm not sure what we are even talking about... sounds like we agree that it should be legal, but you think it will tap into the porn industry and I do not... either way... we won't find out anytime soon. Peace friend. PS - Always wear a rubber.

  • @kailabreece Good that you enjoy porn and have a very active sex life. I didn't think/know the two could go hand in hand. But Ok.Yeh it should be legal and regulated. Amerika is a dull place in reality. I find few women sexually attractive. I could fuck them but I'd be doing them a favor. I do see some hot chicks but I can't get through to them. Whores are guaranteed sex but for cash of course. I wouldn't do anything sexual with a street walker but I would go to a brothel for some fun.

  • Im torn against two opposing ideas, I dont want to say that I am for or against prostitution however; The outlined system of which its presented in opinion needs to change...why? for the protection of human rights as well as safety for all.

  • Men/boys are exploited for labor as well as sex not just women. And I dont believe that All women who sex are slaves; prostitution exist is every culture and social class, no?

  • @jtuneddc5 As far as I know that is correct. I feel sex as a business is not a crime... it is the actions surrounding the "illegal" label that cause crime and infringement of personal liberties. Be well friend.

  • slavery doesnt just exist with women in the form of prositution. 48 sec

  • @jtuneddc5 Explain... ?

  • Continued from my previous comment: what could be a successful, and for some, a lucrative way to survive.

  • I am a successful, attractive woman, and though not a prostitute, I agree that prostitution should be legalized. I believe if someone can make a living with their hands at some kind of trade, like plumbing or carpentry. Or use their mind to be successful, say in mathematics or science, then why not with sex? Nearly everyone has, or wants to have sex. Let the man or woman of legal age do as they please. Stop letting the ugly, stereotypical side of a profession (yes, profession) hurt what could b

  • @Havinthngs Glad to hear from a woman :) I just think its a health issue and not a criminal issue. The men/women who may choose this line of work need to have safer conditions to work, and just trying to sentence them due to one's own personal "morals" is very primitive in my opnion. Land of the free right? I accept anything so long as one's rights aren't infringed by another's.

  • @Havinthngs Its just so low for woman to give her self away especialy for money, woman are beautiful and they should take care of them selfs and respect them self.

  • 2The key is simple laws & regulatory requirements(like permits) that are both easy to understand and comply with. As well as an end to restrictive planning permission & zoning laws. The biggest problem is the government acting as moral arbiter, instead of maintaining a light touch, morally neutral framework that encourages human co-operation.

  • Well said friend.

  • @kailabreece is your mother a prostitute???

  • @petertownend Why, is your mother interested???

  • @petertownend i bet your dad watches and wanks the perv

  • @petertownend You seem like a very intelligent person. Cheers.

  • 1Legalise, regulate & tax we eliminate the underground market

Legalising alone is not enough to destroy the black market that has so many bad side effects. The legal market must be preferable to virtually all customers Making legal prostitution heavily taxed & regulated just creates a two tier system leaving the most vulnerable in the same position as before. The high class whores are doing fine already. It the poor streetwalkers who need liberalisation most.

  • 1a. I suspect that the "evil" or "imoral" conotation would be more so, the more religious the locality that's sampled. We all sell the use of our bodies and minds for money. The only difference seems to be the connection with sex. Now that's a religious grab bag of moral depravity. Anything that has gone to prohibition has gone to the criminal element because it's pushed underground. Plenty of occupations have been said to be degrading; Why is there no clamoring...

  • 2a. ...for their prohibition? If one deems it degrading to push a broom, clean a toilet, polish shoes, herd sheep, and many of these occupations are only degrading to some and not others, why shouldn't those occupations be banned outright as well. The problem is, there's always somebody that doesn't like something, and in time, noone would be able to do anything. We'd all be filthy rich bankers; and I do mean filthy. But not all of us feel the same way about various things. So...

  • 3a. ...I don't see that it does us a lot of good to project our distaste onto something that others may not feel. No, there's no universal that can be applied to sex as distinct from any other form of physical labour. Even mariage is just an exclusive contractual agreement between two people. The breaking of such contracts have consequenses such as alimony and support. I'm getting tired of hearing people elevate sex to some pinacle that should be regarded as sacred, and that...

  • 4a. ...which must be regulated by, not just the populace, but the religious populace. Are there victims in prostitution? Yes. Are there victims anywhere else? Yes. So how does victimization justify prohibition? Should we also ban mariage because of spousal abuse? Or should we catch the abuser, or at least prevent our system from doubly victimizing the victimized by making them feel they're the criminals. It's like being sold bad booze during prohibition; you couldn't report...

  • 5a. ...the bastard because the law saw you as the criminal as well. That's got to stop. I'm still at a loss for society to say, "She got beat up by a trick, but it's ok cause she asked for it." Some women may be fearful of legalized prostitution as it adds further fear to their loss of control over their men. Some men may fear legalized prostitution as it may expose them as unfaithful. Fears abound all over the place. It's no excuse...

  • 6a. ...for not legalizing it though, and allowing them to remain on the victimization plane. Great video.

  • Great comments! Thanks. You noted several points I left out.

  • Thanks, I started right in cause I had a lot to say, and covered ground you had already touched on. Sorry about that. I watched it several times because, well, besides some nice booty, you do an interesting presentation. The music in it is fascinating for your intro. I like the way it fades to the drum beats and lingers. All the time I've seen the thumbnail for your channel, I thought it was Lisa Simpson with a stylish mask. Now in large format I see it's a man with a beard in negative format.

  • Lisa Simpson? LOL! That's awesome! My friend drew the picture of himself with my hair. It is an attempt to capture Auguste Rodins' "The Thinker"... one of my MOST favorite sculptures. Plus, it's a great symbol for intellectual advocacy. The music I created using Magix... glad to know I wasn't the only one who thought it sounded cool. Thanks friend.

  • I think the Lisa Simpson image was solidified by the woman's voice saying the name. It's a good group of associations since all represent intellectuality. The graphic turned out really cool. Music is always a tough one because people are so diverse. What you picked is subtle, minimal, and beckons. Unlike some that screams, is overloaded with too many sounds, and tries to be forceful. I think you're building a fascinating channel. Keep up the creative work, my friend.

  • ...the sensibilities of some people (publically)! Privately, I am sure they would be regulars, tough. Of course we all feel better pointing fingers at others when they get caught fucking up....even though we do the same things but dont get caught (DISCALIMER- I've never needed to pay for it). But I dont look down on those who do. Some just see it as paying 'em to go away, or to make a ton of cash, tax free, anonymously...fair enough. I think society- generally speaking-accepts it privately.

  • Are long as man is willing to pay, there will be women willing to provide. That said, millions of men are willing to pay. And they do, every single day. So millions of consenting adults do their business in private. And the encounters interupted by the police are so few as to be statitstically insignificant. It seems if kind of absurd that we haven't created a regulated environment to not only make it safer for both, but to collect tax revenues from it all. Oh, but that would disturb..

  • Recently a 13 year old girl in texas was charged with prostitution and her pimp was able to walk free. Prostitution being illegal harms the prostitutes the most... often the women (and girls) have had much less than stellar lives to begin with. If adult prostitution were legal, it'd be easier to focus on child prostitution a true crime. Besides this, like you said, what one does with ones own body is their own decision.

  • Seems to me the prohibition and sigma cause more damage than the act.

  • I think the choices come down to these two things, either you believe in the society that embraces a greedy monetary system, or you believe in a society that is community oriented.

If you believe in the monetary system then you have to question the morals of society as a whole, why we need money, and who gets to set the rules.

On the other hand, would prostitution even exist If society was no longer enslaved by a small group of money masters?

  • Was that from The Sadeian Woman? It has been a while since I read it, great book. I concur with the crux of what Carter is saying. However, I perceive it more as a critique of the currently prescribed sexual relations, rather than a simple idealisation of prostitution. I Googled the quote and I think the next sentence is very important, 'In an area of human relations where fraud is regular practice between the sexes, her honesty is regarded with a mocking wonder.'

  • There is an online article called 'Pornography and the Left: Angela Carters Sadeian Woman' that examines Carter's views. It claims that she liked Emma Goldman's perspective, 'A true conception of the relation of the sexes will not admit of conqueror and conquered; it knows of but one great thing: to give of ones self boundlessly, in order to find ones self richer, deeper, better. That alone can fill the emptiness, and transform the tragedy of womens emancipation into joy, limitless joy.'

  • I do not think aversion to prostitution is solely rooted in puritanical attitudes; the reduction of human relationships to shallow exchanges is prolific throughout human history. As Carter says prostitution is a sometimes shrewd and rather honest manifestation of this reality; to condemn (or punish) the prostitute is therefore absurd and immoral. However, should we be happy that prostitution exists?

  • It recalls Diogenes. So disgusted by society and its hidden grotesquery he behaved like an animal. In many ways he was elevated from the mass of hypocrites he disdained - like Sade and Carter, Diogenes is something of a hero. Still, does that mean in the face of social problems the only honest response is to bluntly mirror the baseness we perceive? Or does it mean that we should strive to improve human relations.

  • Ultimately I am not sure about my views on this complex subject. Although I do agree with you that excessive government control on the behest of Christian temperance movements is probably not going to offer sane solutions to any social problems.

  • I wouldn't like to think that a realistic assesment of my assets is that some people might pay me to let them fuck me, but I have a trade and other ways of making a living so I won't do that. Other people don't have that choie, the end up 'on the game' because they have no economically valueable skills aside from selling sexual services. It seems like a shit job to me.

  • I'm not for any form of prohibition though, see my video

    watch?v=cdSOfa4R0uQ

There are some links in the sidebar to prostitutes collectives, all of whom advocate legalisation. Sorry I can't post the links direct here.

  • I don't think it makes any sense to punish someone for selling sex and then claiming that prostitutes are somehow victims.

On the other hand, punishing victims is the norm in our so called civilized society.

  • great video as usual, and i do agree with u that prostitution should be legalized for bunch of reasons.

  • Yay, another video. And on a topic that seems to be hotly debated right now.

Of course, I take an anti-illegalization stance.
