@bennyronny If I may ask a question, how do you know wich is best? To me KCT and MARSOF are equal. The only thing I know is that KCT is tier one leveld assets. To be honest I dont know if there are tier one leveld assets with the MARSOF bit I wouldn't be surprised if they also have them. To me they are all professional and hardcore and they know how to do there jobs. I think they dont really care if a NUKUBU tells ppl wich one is better. thats how I think about this how-is-better-debate.

When they were deployed to Afghanistan NOS was at their asses and begging for some answers.... while actualy KCT shouldn't had told the media that they are in Afghanistan in the first place!

And secondly, why the hostility dude? Im just coming with statements thats all. And thirdly the NOS broadcast was just freaking 3 minutes long showing them using mortars on taliban and stuff. Nothing special. And the stuff you see in training isn't very informative to watch its basic stuff.

Its one unit MARSOF. And in that unit are groups just like in other sf (land, sea and air teams). In MARSOF you have a CT squadron, Frogmen squadron and land squadron but every MARSOF member's specialty is combat diving.

@bleushift The US is getting away from frigates which all ours still in active duty were made in the 70s they are being replaced with destroyers, cruisers, and littoral combat ships. The US naval capabilities are extremely diverse and are constantly being upgraded. Finding stealth ships is one although these capabilities are NOT made public as for air defense one of our destroyers shot a satellite at sea. Well, the Dutch had the largest trade company in the world at the time, The East/West India Company. So, I don't see why they would have a lot of pirates. The Dutch and English tended to be the victims of Pirates. Dunno that pirates really came from a particular country...

In all seriousness, I must apologize to our dutch friends, the belgians in rhwanda...one could go on about failed un sponsored missions but we have some victories too like reestablishing some democracy in kampuchea and the tsunami relief. Future military command in any un missions however must be given to the preponderant military unit

euhm dude what happened at seberenica was not dutch armys fault there were under nato command and that happened to be a french commander nato never gave autority to engage the serbs they waited for air support that never came and dont say send american cuz dutch are helping usa out in afganistan and doing a very good job so enxt time do ur homework before posting a stupid comment like that

the dutchbat in sebrenica was under nato command of a french general the dutch called in airstrikes numerous times and the french commander refused to give it tot hem and they didnt had permission to engage after this the dutch knew nato wasnt supporting them like they should in the missions and pulled out its forces it was a political fuckup not the one of the dutch army its a good trained proffesional highly technology equiped army cant say nothing bout that

Exactly what part of Somalia would you bomb? Problem is you would not bomb the pirates at all. Killing innocent people doesn't assure you will obtain your oil back.
And the pirates could end up sinking your cargo, ship and killing the hostages.
