its not like the patriots have played the toughest teams either their combined opponets record is 70-88 they played 5 teams with 3 wins or fewer, and 6 teams above a %.500 win percentage and one of those teams (dever) has one of the worst defense in the league, and when he plays a team with a good defense he throws for %48 comp. 2 INTs 0 TDs and only 169 yards like last week... and just remember Derek Anderson was just like cassel look at him now his hometown fans cheered after he got injured

Culpepers last year with Randy moss he finished 2nd in MVP voting, only cuz P manning broke the TD record in like 14 weeks, Cassels season with randy moss after having his best year hes 9th in the league only beating rookie matt ryan by a few passing yards, and thats not saying much cuz ryan plays in the NFC south with 2 great Defenses (bucs a& panthers) that he plays twice in a season if hes so much better then culpeper wouldn't he be doing much better then everybody like Culpeper did?

he only looks good cuz the patriots had the benefit of playing weak teams with weak defenses. when he played the steelers the true matt cassel came out >%50 comp. 170 yrd 0 TDs 2 INTs and sacked twice... and he didn't look all that great against the seahawks %59 comp 260 yrds 1 TD 0 Int sacked 3 times against a defenes thats ranked 30th... Denver is 28th he only had 185 yards 2 tds and sacked 6 times.. that just shows he doesn't know how to get rid of the ball against teams that suck

the hell cassel is 9th in passing yards Chad pennington has more yards then him... here some other stats you forget to mention about him he leads the league in getting sacked, he has a 13-10 touchdown to int ratio he is also 9th in interceprions thrown and 12th in yards per game the sad thing about that is its a very good offense and he can't do better then pennington in miami? i don't think pennington can tell you who he has at WR and half the time ronnie brown lines up at QB for them

9th in passing yards is still not that bad and thats because all chad does is chuck the ball when miami does run it its always in that wildcat or whatever. the 10 ints most of those were in the early season he has amazingly improved even the espn guys say it. the reason why he isnt much of a big yard person is because he does short passes alot he struggles with the deep ball but he puts the ball where his receiver can run. Pennington has a decent team this year its not like miami is shit.
