  • I love his homage to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan here. I'm going to put this on my facebook on Newy Year's Eve. It's a perfect sentiment for forgiving yourself and moving on, no matter where to.

  • Yeah, Jeff, we really miss you, man.

  • I feel no shame for what I am-- A Jeff Buckley fan forever.<3

  • Great lyrics actually!

  • Jeff Buckley was so beautiful

  • I just started watching dead zone and that is how I found out about this beautiful song,

  • I agree that this song was great as the intro for The Dead Zone. I wouldn't have known about Jeff if not for that, actually.

  • hello FaithIsAnnoyed , can you tell me the name of the album of this songs you posted here on youtube ? thanks ;)

  • è una fusione arabo-occidentale in una spirale verso l'alto

  • I just loved Jeff creativity, bravado and confidence in playing songs in so many different genres and genius of him was in everyone of them he was the best or amongest the best.

  • This reminds me of arabic music... Love it, though

  • mesmerizing...still uplifting, cryptic and irreplaceable after all these years

  • god this song is haunting! this is MUSIC it provokes emotion

  • The first time I heard this was in Memphis, when Jeff would play a small club on Monday's during the "My Sweetheart" sessions. Some drunk girl, a regular I think, started dancing in front of him and tried to climb on stage with Jeff. He gently warded her off and, without breaking stride, went from the song he was playing into the chorus of this one. Needless to say, everyone in the club but the girl got the joke. "Feel no shame for what you are".

  • This was an excellent song for The Dead Zone TV Series Theme. It was really stupid for them to change it.

  • this song sounds amazing if u have a system

  • Feel no shame for what you are.

Feel no shame for what you weren't

Feel no shame for what you could be.

    .

  • I play this song full blast in my car while I drive to school.

  • Adore Jeff....

~Feel shame for you are, feel no shame for what you are, Fell it as a waterfall.~

Another great artist, taken too soon. Thanks for posting.

  • oooppsss meant......Feel no shame....

  • I think I am experiencing what the French call "un petit mort"

  • @kellar are you sure?... ;-)

"la petite mort" is an expression for "orgasm"

  • @fan62 , lol, yes I am aware.

  • This song was used as the opening theme for the first couple of seasons of the television series The Dead Zone, starring Anthony Michael Hall.

  • @Fleurdelys2525 yes!! i started watching that show because of it hehehe then they changed it :(

  • This is one of my favorites. <3

  • Love this song

    XXX

  • What a hauntingly beautiful voice, and song.

  • thank you for posting this! love the pic you chose of Jeff!!

  • beautiful!

  • I think he is saying " as the marrow in your bones " not "as you now ar ein your blood" just saying .. Great Song! : )

  • @Almedia78 i thought it was "as an arrow in your brow".

  • O.K. Crazy German ... I have since looked up the lyrics. The original line "as you now are in your blood " seems to be the correct lyric. I don't know about you but I think it is ok to think of the lyrics as you see best fit at times. It makes the song personal. I like your version too "as an arrow in your brow" makes me think of someone with a SHARP Mind!

  • haha, awesome! yeah i like your point, its true. and thats what i thought of someone with a sharp mind. great song

  • 'Feel no shame for what you are '

    i love this song.
