Did you learn it by ear because you play Ab with your thumb on 00:50. It should be the lower E. Although it sound like the original version. Too bad I don't have perfect pitch :-)

If i wanted to hear the composers version, wouldn't i just listen to that version? the fact that each person's style reflects their personality is interesting. Variety is the spice of life and i like the style of this one, it's cool to see someone with small hands play the piano and it sounds like vynl. Even if i change Chopin's composition's when i play i still respect the bastard...

@Aquaveritas1 ahahah, if you think it's a playback, it is probabily because you don't know the original song. If you listen carefully to my version, you will hear that my piano is out of tune, and if you try to superimpose my audio track with the original one, you'll notice that they won't fit together. Even the finals are different, I've changed it on purpose! What do you think I would earn by posting a playback with the image of my hands? Glory? I don't have so much time to lose :)

Hi, what version you playing? I've got the The Heart Asks Pleasure First (The Promise/ The Sacrifice) version from the book 'Piano Revisited' and I really need to find out how long that version lasts (without having to learn it first!!!!) It's for my music performance in like two weeks which has to be 5-8 minutes so I need to know if I can play it with another piece. :S thanks!!! xx

It's somewhat inconsistent because the left hand part is not loud enough. I feel as though you're rushing off to some where wothout stopping, feels stiff as well. All in all you have the timing on spot but your emphasising throughout the song makes it dull. Even so, you play this song quite well and your fingers are flying over the keys, even if it feels as though you're rushing off. Thumbs up!
