The security issue with IE8 is that it is so integrated into the sytem that it's clear that the only reason it's intergrated is for monpolistic reasons. BECAUSE ANY SANE PERSON CAN TELL THAT INTEGRATING THE OS WITH A BROWSER IS A STUPID IDEA. Epecially when you have crap like ACTIVE I THINK IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO RUN ABRITARY CODE X. Even microsoft's tech net's rule of security says thats bad.

Yeah, I accidently bought spysheriff and it works fine... everything "works fine" when you pay for it. this includes hookers, cars and other life related stuff

Most of the security firms I know of use virtual machines. It's very easy to run a test and then reset the virtual machine and start a new test. Wiping hard drives clean isn't exactly the fastest thing in the world, after all.
