For an unplayable lie you have 3 choices.1. Back to where you previously struck the ball, 2. On a straight line from the flag, through your ball and as far on that line as you wish, or 3. within 2 club lengths of your current position but no closer to the hole.

He could have gone to the tee prior to the shot that struck his leg. Once he hit that shot he could only go back to his last position. Two club lengths and straight back didnt look like they were goimg to help.

I have not watched more than 1:20 of this video, but I know right now what decision Kevin made that caused the 16. He should have called the 2nd tee shot (his 3rd stroke on the hole) also unplayable, and hit from the tee again. Shame on his caddie for not urging him to do that. Once he declined to declare an unplayable lie from that position, he could no longer go back to the tee. DUMB!!!
