Yes, it is waaaay too lean. Just wanted to point out though, It is now December of '09, and I have just had the same Tmaxx, with the same 3.3 engine in it, out doin flips and high speed donuts in the snow. Tough motor.
@Chris102371 : not sure if you'll ever read this message, but for a suggestion, to save battery power in the handheld starter, buy a glow plug igniter, and unhook that blue wire. Just use the ignitor on the glowplug, and i found that my starter turns easier, since it's getting all the power from the handheld starter. Tis another thing to charge, ofc, but worth it in book. And by the way, this running way lean motor still start on the first try, and runs fast n hard.
What's runnin lean? the high speed needle or low speed needle? my car sounds kinda like that but not as bad and when i try to tune it , it just f*cks it up even more. what needle should i tune?
u can hear as it reaches higher speeds, it starts to cut out...that'd be lean on the high speed needle. this vid was when i was pretty much new to this whole thing, but it's a year later, and that same truck, same motor still pulls wheelies, and ramps with the best of em.
