I haven't tried it yet, but I'm hoping it'll be sturdy enough. In theory, "it should be fine". :)
I'm curious does it work on CYMA's? Specifically on a CM047C (AK-74M)???

this is the old cheap version, i would suggest getting the new model.

@derrickkolba Your wrong. This is the gen III model with additional side ribs to prevent accidental shut off. The gen I had none of these features.

Way cool.. No permanent mods to the rifle to attach this? Do most AK's and clones have this same ability?

Well I ended up with a Tantal.. great little AK but no siderail. I've just got a good excuse to buy another AK now.
