the film could have been set anywhere, it was ultimately about the 3 main characters on what drove them, by the end they had shown 1 couldn't live without the thrill of danger and couldn't adjust back to normal life, 1 realised he wanted to get back to his girlfriend & 'normal life'... and the other, just got totally disillusioned.
