  • RIP Edward John Smith

  • 4 greek man ...! lost your lifes in too the ship :vasilios katavelos, panagiotis liberopoulos, apostolos xronopoulos and dimitrios xronopoulos brothers never forget you my brothers never....my blood!

  • Titanic's 4th funnel was just for style. Only three we're functional.

  • 1:24 Olympic.

  • @DarkRemdu59

    So it is. My mistake.

  • i wish the people who died may rest in peace.i really feel very bad for the death of so many people

  • That is a rare sight, Titanic with only 3 funnels. The Olympic Class was originally design to have 3 funnels.

  • Titanic was a beautiful ship. Titanic was so lovely. Titanic really was the ship of dreams.

  • R.I.P!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • R.I.P

  • The 2 dislike were definetly supposed to hit the like button but missed. No other reason

  • well the titanic was built with inferior steel it had too much sulfer content which made it extremely brittle and sustiple to cold. added to the fact that the ice warnings were ignored and then the bincolculars for the lookouts went missing as well as other little mishaps they all added up.. there wasn't just one person to blame. God rest them all. very well put together video and this song fits very well.

  • @stefansmom bullshit, the steel was the best avaivable to that time. Beside that, evry ship would sink after that damage. If 45.000 tons crash with 40Km/h into ice, the hull will break. No matter what it is made from.

  • @JavierAndreasMueller it's not bullshit and you need to do your research before calling me a bullshitter I live in Halifax Nova Scotia and the mairtime museum of the atlantic has a very current and up to date exhibit on the titanic. before you open your mouth back up your words with facts.. I have can you???

  • @stefansmom He is right at the time that was the best steel they had and of course they are going to say it was inferior because they are comparing it to the steel we have know. But beleive me if the Titanic was made out of chromoly steel which i might add is the strongest steel on the planet it is used in race car roll cages, it would still sink. You have like 100k tons of steel running into a 500k ton iceberg yeah it's going to do damage anyway you look at it.

  • One of the best video's i have ever seen of the RMS Titanic... Congratulations!!

  • New Ships suck build the Titanic piece by piece like in 1908-1912 but with higher water tight doors!

  • It has been proven that the Steel wasn't made right. When in cold water it got weak and would break. I blame Bruce Ismay and White Star for not using and testing the material they used to build the Titanic. It was a major lose to the company and to many who lost there lives due to the accident ,, But without this tragic event Ships wouldn't be as safe as they are today. BTW the Movie will return in 2012 in 3D

  • @dallaspolo

True, the steel was inferior - compared to our modern standards.

You have to consider that virtually every ship at the period the Titanic was built in used inferior steel, and many of them did not sink. And not just the White Star vessels. They used the best that was available at the time, to them the steel was of good quality. Times change.

  • This video is beautiful.

  • I have found out that the "rusticles" on the Titanic are really a new type of bacteria that when it disintegrates the Titanic will be nothing but a rust stain on the ocean floor. When I found this out I started to cry. R.I.P. RMS TITANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i blame the builder cause he said that god cant sink it god can sinkt he ice berg with the ship

  • whats wrong with the original version with nightwish? would have bin way better

  • If they tried to ram the iceberg, only one compartment would be destroyed. It would cause some damages to other parts but I can spare a few rooms for an entire ship

  • One of the biggest human error that was done so wast is Murdoch's error. Full speed back and the roder hard to starbord. If he had not done that so had the Titanic miss the iceborg with under 1 m

  • ACTUALLY!! IT WASNT THE ICEBURG . THEY WERE GOING TO FAST AND DID NOT LISTEN TO THE PROPER WARNINGS>> THEY WOULD HAVE HAD TIME TO TURN OR IMPACT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN AS GREAT.

  • Wonderful collections of photographs, and the colored renditions of some of those photographs are just simply breathtaking. I wonder who did those renditions, but I'd actually be surprised if it was Ken Marschall.

  • Has this song become the unofficial shipwreck theme? Good video. I like the use of photos of the people as opposed to just images of the ship, or, for God's sake... Jack and Rose... Good job.

  • Titanic. Those people at the Mcdonald's in Cicero are not only disrespecting me, but to you as well. Titanic-sama what should do so you won't be diss anymore & that go for just about every Liner

  • Comment removed

  • God, how Titanic amazes me. Take me home Titanic-sama. Lady Titanic, take me to where you are

  • The wreck sure dosen't look like the inside of Titanic anymore.

  • They use this song in the titanic and britannic

  • I'm mostly curious how many male adults and children survived the sinking of Titanic.

  • heathrm69, the song is " sleeping sun " by Nightwish. :)

  • 2:12 looks like the guy who shot himself in the head in the movie

  • Das lied ist soo schön !

  • I love Titanic

  • i know ive heard this song. but where? and who sings it?

  • the rudders were too small to move the ship so big to get away from the iceberg

  • No one actually said that Titanic was unsinkable in the reality :O

  • sadly the titanic will be gone in a few years due to it deteriorating v.v

  • @BloodyEncore14 a ship santana isnt disintigrating

  • 5×××××))))

  • Wonder piece TCR, much enjoyed, Thank You

  • white star line they got renamed after the accident. Dumb Fuck who assume the best in things when actually they have major flaws and cause mass death to innocant lives.

  • God bless all the poor souls what whas lost at april 14 1912 at the atlantic oceans. What whas not ment to them. And God bless the beuty ship Titanic.

  • rip titanic

  • Of all the people to lay blame for what happened that night, we're forgetting one...the captain of the Californian, which wasn't that far away from Titanic and reportedly could see Titanic's rockets being fired but choose to ignore them. Why he didn't turn his ship to help we'll never know, because everyone knows what rockets at sea means. More people could have been saved if he had steered his ship in Titantic's direction.

  • @kittylass5 I will vote up for that, BUT it was really Jack Philips fault for telling the Californian's wireless operator to "SHUT UP" and that is why the wireless operator on the Californian went to sleep or they would have heard the "C.Q.D." which in fact is not really a distress call, back then it was known as "come, quick distress" but now I do not think it is in use.

  • @kittylass5 (from above) And it is the Quarter Master Hitchens fault because now they have proof that Hitchens, who steered the Titanic into the iceberg accidentally steered the wrong way at first, then he steered it into the right direction. If he did not go the wrong way at first, the Titanic would have survived the night. Or at least till the next morning and again R.I.P. TITANIC!!!!!!!

  • I do have my stories straight boultonsissters and don't talk to me like that. Read your history people. The captain did ignore the warning about a day before the sinking then he went to bed and was woken up. Its all over the history webs believe me if you want I don't care. The point I was trying to make was none of us were there and the fact that people placed the blame on one person, Ismay is wrong, because he didn't cause the ship to sink, there were all sorts of problems that night.

  • @Mckfrr--It is true that J. Bruce Ismay is not alone in culpability regarding the Titanic's sinking. The blame lies with Captain E. J. Smith, who was the captain, and therefore had the final word in command. He was nobody's puppet. As to the "crew" ignoring ice warnings, to clarify, Marconi Operator Jack Phillips did not know he was being interrupted by an ice warning. He only knew he was being interrupted. Visit Titanic Impact on Facebook for more info on the ship and her passengers.

  • Many things happen in history but few live on through the ages. A thousand years from now all will still remember the Titanic.

  • nightwish sleepingsun

  • really great what version of the song is that called

  • got to see the Titanic arifacts and a huge piece of the ship which was brought up, when visiting my daughter in Athens, Greece. The section that was on exibit was encased in Plexiglass with a small hole where you can wriggle your fingers through , just to say you touched the Titanic, ..then by lottery we were all given paper to open , on it was the name of a passenger, there you would see whether the one you chose surviived or not, out of all the ones with us , I held the name of a survivor.

  • Allright you know what Bruce Ismay did not sink the titantic he was not the only one who screwed up that night. Did you know the captain ignored all the ice warnings or that the crew cussed out the guy on the radio that warned the titantic of the ice warnings. Do you know why people blamed Ismay, it's because he was the only survivor who was associated with the ship! Get your stories straight people it wasn't just Ismay's fault so stop just blaming him you idiots!

  • Ismay is the one who ordered the ship to go faster

  • It wasn't Ismays fault. But the captain did not ignore iceberg warnings. He turned hard right when he found out. But he was napping until the co - captain woke him up. How Bout' YOU Get YOUR Stories staright!

  • the back of the ship is in a state.

is that a funnel next to it.

  • i wouldnt piss on ismay if e woz on fire.

  • No other sea disaster touched me as this one has. I remember doing a book report in school about it, and I got a hold of any book I could find to find out what had happened. So sad what happened to those people.

  • bleeeee,muzyka nie pasuje

  • awsome great job =p

  • ||the song!!||

  • I just love this song!!

  • this is Tarja also.

  • ***** and historical notes i put on titanic and elvis stuff ^_^: did you know titanic captain smith wouldnt leave the titanic because he thought it was his duty to stay with the ship and it was his last job of captain before he retired and he was last seen on the bow of the ship saluting the lifeboats right before it plunged into the sea?

  • shes better then tarja

  • love the vid!

  • love the song it suits the vid 5 stars *****

  • good video. i see that you took your time and put your best effort into this titanic tribute. 5 stars *****!!!

  • 闇

  • i agree with mckfrr ismay just speed her up but going fast could of helped them avoid it but the ice berg moved along side

  • Bruce Ismay did not sink the titantic, it was an iceberg. If you want to blame him you may as well blame everyone, the captain, who ignored the warnings the officer who left with the binoculars, etc. Human errors and mother nature led to the tragedy, not just one person.

  • Mostly mother nature, actually. A calm sea and no moon that evening also played a part.

And Captain Smith never "ignored" the ice warnings. Most of the important ice warnings couldn't get through in the first place! There were so many messages coming and going that it overwhelmed the telegraph.

And by the way, one more thing. Captain Smith actually changed course in a southernly direction in hopes of avoiding icebergs in the first place. And Ismay definitely isn't to blame either.

  • And they did use a challenging ice warning from the eastbound liner Caronia, that sent it that icebergs and field ice in 42 Degrees from 47 and 53 West

  • @mckfrr You can't blame mother nature for anything but your right about the others

  • no no, it is because the ship did not slow down.

  • Nice I liked it :D

  • For the record, with all the other videos and tributes out there, including my own, that use this song (or the older version, as I do) I feel that Sleeping Sun fits the Titanic most. Of course, other people have other thoughts, so, to each his/her own.

  • Really? I thought that sleeping sun would fit Britannic in my opinion, but hey, you're the creator, so I don't argue with that

  • @tcr2006

I agree completely. Infact I recorded a cover of this yesterday and then found this video u made today and yes it fits the titanic story soooo well. Again thank u for creating this. BEAUTIFULY done.

  • @tcr2006 I agree with you this song does fit Titanic

  • @tcr2006 I DEFINITELY agree!

  • @tcr2006 'Sleeping sun' does fit. The meaning of the word, Titan, actually refers to the greek sun god. Titan(the sun) is sleeping on the bottom of the ocean. Sleeping sun. Sad stuff. May the lost never be forgotten... great tribute.
