It's not going to be the 400zx it is going to be 380z. The Nissan GT-R has a 3.8 litre they are obviously going to go with that engine just without the turbos. They are not going to make a 4.0L V6 and they are never going to make a 4.0L V8 30,000 grand.

Well, the new M37 will have a direct injection version of the VQ37 engine which will produce 350+ hp. Just by adding direct injection they can get the G37 or 370z to produce numbers like 360 hp.

I'm almost certain the engine will have the same displacement. I think the same type of idea for this car will come as the VSpec GT-R. Power wise it is exactly the same just little tune here and there for handling. If engine power is increased, it will probably reach 350HP like the Nismo version but I also doubt that because then it will give no reason for the Nismo version to exist.

I have driven one and your right, it's an amazing car. You can't use launch mode or the warranty is void. That is my problem and Nissan will charge up to 20k for a replacement trans. In 1992 I bought a RSR Carrera for 16k. It would bury the GTR. I am just saying that the Nissan people are out of their fricking minds to offer that GTR for so much money then tell you "don't punch it dude or the gearbox fails."
