Fellow Christians please agree in prayer with me now. Dear God, please bless and protect & comfort this beautiful woman and her lovely daughters. Also protect and comfort her husband. May the world see how blatantly evil the principles and people who persecute her are. In Jesus Name and to the glory of the Father Amen.
I don't understand the blasphemy law at all. There are people from different religions, different cultures. We expect people to respect other religions and cultures. But that doesn't mean everyone has to or everyone will. We will always find people with opinions which we wont like. But that shouldn't make a person candidate for imprisonment or death sentence. Though i didn't like the comment she made about our Holy Prophet (swa), i hope and pray that she will not be persecuted.
I for one am not what many would consider a "religious person", but I do have a strong belief that everyone has a right to his/hers own opinions and beliefs. The fact that the countries laws tie into the popular religion so vehemently should cause outrage on its own. I do hope that the political officials in Pakistan recognize this and act before it is too late. My thoughts and prayers go out to you Asia.
Praying for her and ask that God would giver her and the family strength to go trough this trial and come out as the witnesses of our Heavenly Father. May God Bless you Asia and the family.
My family & I are praying for Asia Bibi's release ever since we heard of her plight.
The 'law' that 'convicted' her is too extreme & very unjust. She should never have been sentenced to death.
Plus, the initial accusation of what she supposedly said, is still unclear: others discriminating against her may have exaggerated what she said, or lied against her.
Lord please move by your Holy Spirit, we know that the kings heart is in your hand and like the rivers of water you turn it what ever way you please.....Lord please move into this situation and set her free...
Be assured she will be free but as a pakistani i am ashamed by this barbaric blashphemy law that was enacted by the bloody dictator in 1980's. This law must be abolished. I also pray for asia bibi....
What's strange is that I live in Houston, TX and we have thousands of Pakistanis that live here in the city. Most people here don't associate Pakistanis whith extremists and terrorists - they usually think of some arab who wears a long beard and skull cap. But it seems like Pakistan is an ant's nest of extremism.
Praying for Asia, her family, and those who persecute her because of Christ Jesus. Lord help them to forgive the evil doers. Endure to the end sister Asia!
Lord, i pray for my sister in Christ. i lift up her and her family to you right now in Jesus name. i ask You to bless them and give them peace. what ever the outcome of this, my You be glorified, in Jesus name i pray.

I just read the following passage the other day and I thought of Asia:
Psalm 37:32-33 "The wicked watches for the righteous and seeks to put him to death.
The LORD will not abandon him to his power or let him be condemned when he is brought to trial."
Trust in God's word as you pray for this woman, her family, and her country.

"Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven...
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you." - Matthew 5:2-3, 10-12.

Matthew 24:9
Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death," Jesus warned, "and you will be hated by all nations because of me."
2 Timothy 3:12)
everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
John 16:2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.
Asia shall be with the Lord soon. Yes hang in there Asia!
