time machine lets you install 1.50 firmware on a psp slim (not supposed to be possible)but you need a Pandora battery to do it... personaly im to lazy to solder one and to cheap to buy one from someone else, thats why its easier to just use the older fatter psp

The PSP isn't semi-bricked.

It's just a side effect of running a the 1.5 firmware via Time Machine on a slim.

I think the reason is because 1.5 on the Slim requires some files borrowed from later firmwares so it can support the way the slim does things differently than the fat (Like back lighting for instance.)

Time machine requirements:

-3.90M33-2 or above (installed in psp nand)

-a Pandora battery (you dont have to convert it back to normal battery, with TM, u can use it as normal battery)

-Phat PSP or PSP Slim

-a Memory Stick/Magic MS, (minimum 512MB, recommend 1)GB or above

1) you do need pandora to downgrade.

2) you dont need TM to downgrade.

3) TM is really cool just for basically loading three diff operating systems(fw) on your slim/fat psp, one of which is 1.50ofw which is not possible with the slim psp.

In short, this shows a PSP slim running 1.5 kernel. The 1.5 was native to the PSP Fat and a turning point in the homebrew scene. Tons of CFW apps were developed for that kernel, but up now the only way to run them on a Slim was using 1.5 loaders, like eLoader. The 1.5 Slim addon is a brilliant proof of concept, it allows you to run any and all homebrew on a stable kernel. The Slim becomes an all-inclusive homebrew platform!!! =)

hey, i was playing jeane d'arc a while back, and almost beat the thing, but then, out of no where, the txt from the characters talking started scrunching together for some reason. so i restarted my psp, and it happened a couple more times. so i restarted my psp a few more times, but after a like 5 restarts, the psp wouldnt turn on anymore. it doesnt charge or anything. could it be the battery? would the batt screw with the system? any other ideas of what could be wrong with it? thanks.
