but if your gona be hitting it like i use mine then get the 18"

also depends on the music. bigger crashes are generally associated to metal and harder kinds of music

i have zbt cymbals - i wouldnt personally reccommend them, i'd say look to spend a bit more money as crashes are a very important part of your kit - obviously your choice though :)

@huggleskuishy In my opinion, I'd say get the 18" rock crash. It's the best sounding in the series. I personally hate the sound of the 16" crash. Sounds horrible. Just ask if you can try one out at your nearest drum shop (:

Your ride is wicked awesome, and I think it would sound just a tiny bit better using sticks as Vic Firth. I prefer 5A /7A gribbed.

Well if they crash too easily, maybe you should get thicker sticks that matches your playing, or hit differently. 55A would be a nice size if you are looking for abit thicker stick - but still in the light class :)

I bought the HCS package from Meinl just to have something to replace my shit with if it broke, and I've never actually used it, I might try out the ride to see if it gives that "ping" sound which I love on a ride.
