Thanks so much Robin, your opinions, contagious laugh and enthusiasm are as wonderful as I remembered (I used to watch your videos from my old channel). I am "only" 37 but few gray hair show. I've decided to not hide them, both because I am against the overwhelming worshiping of the youth of which so many women are slaves and for health reasons: my mother who used to dye her hair developed a cancer at only 56 and it made me think. These products are very dangerous and women don't know about it.
@SogniAzzurri - What a beautiful and highly insightful comment. One everyone should read because you are so right, on all counts. I too refuse to be a "slave" to the media's worship of youth. Youth is fine, but so is every other age. And we need to learn and respect people of all ages. It's essential. You are also VERY right about most hair dyes being not only toxic, but even dangerous. I've too have read of their connection to cancer. Good for you for mentioning these things. Huge hugs, Robin
I just love this, it is so true and funny. And when you got out the magnifying glass I thought I would laugh falling off my chair. By the way, I'm Shelly R. from Fb:) Every time I color my hair I ask myself, why am I doing this? My hubby doens't give a hoot if my hair is grey. I don't give a hoot....or do I? Just that darn pressure from society? How do I let it control me like this? I wish I had the guts to just be what I am. I was even born with a grey streak in my hair as a baby. Sigh!
@bailyshouse - i just LOVE you!!! This is such an honest and wonderful comment!!! So good to hear your story! Love the baby born with a gray streak. How adorable is THAT?!!! :) :)
Hello Robin, thank you for sharing your thoughts on this subject. Yes, it is an important topic; but, I will admit that I am not really sure if I am growing older gracefully, I am working on getting my body to cooperate a bit better - now that is a bit of a chore. Thank you for making me contemplate a bit more. Have a wonderful weekend.
Dear Robin, it is a very important topic. And listening to your story it makes the person pause and think.
What is a very important in life. I thing aging gracefully is inevitable process.
There are young people who have a gray hair...Life is much easier if we focus on things that are on importance but we actually can live with any color of hair.
I really loved your video. Thank you my dear lovely friend for recording this...Sending much love to you and yours...♥Zuzanna
@Susanna129 -- Dear Sweet Zuzanna!! You are one who certainly had a powerful focus in life. You focus on love and kindness and those things and people that you love dearly....AND you seem to do this everywhere you go. You have simply become LOVE. You are a wonderful role model for me and all the lives you touch. We are so blessed to have you in the world. We really are. Love, Robin
@Cliffbrock Hey Rod, Thank you for your encouragement and the thumbs up. :) :) I too think gray hair is fine!! You ought to do a song about it. If you do let me know. Don't know if people ever give you song requests or not, but that is my request. LOL!!! I'm serious. :)
@Aislan4414 Hey my friend! Good to see you here again. Do you know I too thought of Bonnie Raitts streak of white. She looks dynamite!! I am VERY touched by your support & encouragement of who we ARE!! You rock!! The world need more people like you. Good for you for seeing truth and having the courage to speak it. Did you see KenLattari's comment just below yours. He 2 is a free thinker. Thank YOU, so MUCH!!! Robin :)
Love it. Love your attitude, & of course you are totally correct. It is our money making commercial society that tells us we are inadequate somehow if we are gray, bald, etc. Ageism is promoted as is every other human function or "dysfunction", just see how the drug companies rule the evening news time slots. Don't change a thing Robin, you look great just the way you are. Cheers & Peace.
@KenLattari Hi Ken, LOVE this comment! YES! I agree !00% Very powerfully & passionately worded. Just felt good to read ur words. Excellent!! Also thank U for the kind & encouraging words to me. I REALLY appreciate them A LOT!!! . Peace, Robin.
@livelife365 Heeey Mike!! I'm LMAO!! Yes, I've probably watched & shown (2 friends) ur HAIR video 10 times. I laugh every time. It's REEEEALLY good. Was at ur site yesterday or the day before & I cannot get over how YOUNG u look!!! My god, I swear I thought u were 30 - 35 before u told me otherwise, & believe me hair or no hair is NOT what makes a man look young of sexy. I talked about that in my video, but was too long & had to cut it out. Thx mike!! U r more amazing than u know. R :)
