Both Haardvark and GBH attacked two sets of bricks/barrels it was Sir Killalot that ushed the sphere into the pit on GBH's run so its perfectly plausible that Haardvark got 15 points more

all the bricks and barrels meant waaaaay more points were available than in later series. i worked out that for bricks and barrels there 60 points in each corner, and so that's 480 in total just for them (which is why all the semi finalists mainly just went for them apart from panic attack, roadblock and king buxton)

That was kind of unfair that Haardvark lost when Killalot attacked them when it was they that pushed cassius into the PPZ. I read on their website they could only reverse in that fight so they actually did brilliantly to come back at Cassius. In both semi finals thou it was rather predictable who would go through

I thought it was unfair too, I liked Haardvark a lot and thought they could have won it when Cassius lost the chain (although it didn't seem to affect them much)

Meh, they did well to get as far as they did and like you said it was just a bit predictable as to wh would go through :P
