  • idk if you have too much time on your hands or you are just a genius... but its amazinnnngngggggdasdgsadfgsjd agm;,

  • OK, that's awesome.

  • Finally! a tiny v-8 that DOESN'T sound like a Weedeater. Thanks

  • impressive , id love something like that to fit to my 1/5 baja

  • is the horsepower to scale as well as the weight?

  • whats the hp rating on the supercharged version?

  • nice but i could get a full size engine for 5k

  • Comment removed

  • 3 peple are mad because their ricers have less power than this

  • @aaronzack14 Lmao

  • 5000 usd for 6 hp lol

I could fart more hp than that and I won't charge :)

  • Really wish I had the money for something like this, it'd probably make one of the coolest mini kitchen appliances for the garage! Or as a display piece for a show car

  • waste of money.

  • what about prices? even on the website there are no quotes

  • This engine is begging to be installed in a lawnmower!

  • specs of this engine by what i can here is. firing order is 1 2, rpm range somewhere between 8000 and 12000, hp is 5 to 7 and turqe is somewhere around 6... this stuff might be wrong but thats what i hear it from.

  • where do i get one

  • @theking15141414 they start at a price around 5000usd

  • 5695.00 plus shipping

  • Is it nitro-methane ?

  • Whats the HP?

  • its because not all the cylinders had fuel when it started running it takes a bit to warm up al lcylinders

  • the camshaft is made for high rpm horspower so it idles a bit rough, Have you ever heard a muscle car idle?

  • I didn't know that you could see RPM's on this video!? You must have superpowers because I have no idea how many RPM it achieved.

  • I love the sound of a ruf idle... its just undescribable

  • douchebag... they sound amazing, don't be a hater

  • a great alarm clock!

  • what the heck thats is so cute hahahha

  • would love hear it at wot for a couple of seconds. is that an actual alternator, running off the belt?

  • go to the site in the description, they run about 5-6 thousand and are about 6 hp@9,500 rpm.

  • amazing little motor.

  • so whats the price on this £4000 or more nice engine do

  • make a mini 4x4 pulling truck, and use that engine!

  • that is the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life it even sounds like a v8

  • How much for one of those?

  • as much as a real one.

  • thats awsome man

  • now build a scaled down 1970 GTO to put it in :D

  • the most amazing thing i have ever seen was the 1/4 scale v10 viper, do any of them still exist, the detail was unbelievable.

  • Aww. It's so cute.

  • hey you should make biger scale motors

  • i now that small parts are hard to make but the make bigger motor i dont now wat scale but there only like 1k

  • The intake runners and intake design with the front center mounted throttle body reminds me of the GM TPI or LT1 style engines. They had the exact same intake and throttle body configuration.

This engine sounds a lot different than the older conley v8's. This one sounds really good and by the sound should have a lot more power.

    A+

  • could u put that on a go kart jus wondering

  • can it actually do work or is it only strong enough to run on the bench

  • Their strong, theres a vid of one of these in an rc monstor truck somewhere on you tube.

  • i'd love to see one of these engines actually in something, specially this one!! More videos please!!!!

  • Very Kewl. I was one of the first people from my state, to have an actual V-8 engine from Conley Precisions. Ordered my first disassembled kit in June of 1990. Kit arrived in October of that year. The second engine I ordered from Conley was in March, 1996. Came assembled with Blower installed. Last firing was in summer of 96. Unfortunately, all the molds got destroyed in a fire, hence the new V8 design.

The new 609 Stinger uses actual gasoline and has more intricate details.

  • put more vids of that mini monster

  • Sweetness...

  • damn that sounds good

  • the zoomies are sick, add a blower and you have a scale top fuel engine.

  • Awsome! Love it!

There's some amazing stuff on your website too. Great job.

  • I love it too. Now, all we need to do is genetically produce "small people" who stand six inches tall when fully grown.

  • lets race sometime dude

  • Um I think I want one!!

  • these are really cool but id rather put a real bpss 302 in my mustang

  • This is just amazing!!:D

  • Thanks for the Kudos'

  • I wish my brain was powerful enough to be a mechanical engineer. This engine is so awesome. I'm envious.

  • Can I have one for free? I'll give it back within two weeks.

  • did u design and build this engine?

  • I did design the engine and am in full production at the present time.

  • ive got a question...what type of motor oil does it take?, and is it nitro, regular or super premium. if it is nitro can i run strait gas?

  • @conleyprecision hello , i was wanting to know if that engine would be powerful enough to power a 1/4 scale monster truck engine which weighs around 80 lbs

  • @baptistedeschrevel yea, i'm sure you do..prob a few other people too. ;)

  • @MullinPerformance i'm sorry, i didnt get that??

  • @baptistedeschrevel Sorry, when i seen this comment it reminded me of the 1/4 scale gravedigger rcwizard is building. I have a feeling the standard conley v8 is going to be too weak for that project. That's why when you asked if this would power a 1/4 scale,80 pound project..i said "prob a few other people are wondering too"...

I would also like to see some hp numbers for these small engines..

  • @MullinPerformance oh yaeh yeah yeah i see, in fact i was talking about the grave digger , i was just giving a few details on the weight and size ,

i don't know man , it might be enough , i just hope so

this engine produces abouuuuuutt 5 hp or more

  • @baptistedeschrevel This one or the stock conley?

  • @MullinPerformance well in average this one should have to put about six hp

then the grave digga conley would be about five i suppose

  • @conleyprecision hello gary , or mr.conley if you prefer , may i ask you something about that oil pressure gauge , a friend of mine is looking for rpm , oil pressure and other gauges for his 1/4 scale monster truck , and i'd like to know if it was possible of making and selling him those , that small size impresses him and he told me to ask you if maybe you could make them and sell them to him , he uses an old conley v8 for this truck and really likes to put in details ... thank you

  • How much these little things cost?

  • $5995.99

  • These lil motors are so cool! I would love one. They should try shrinking a briggs &Stratton lawn motor engine by the same scale ratio. Kind of pointless but it would be challenging and so tiny! Make the whole lawnmower & you'd have the worlds first and smallest gas powered shaver! LoL.....Yes I know I'm getting carried away.

  • did Conley Precision once make a V12? I would have loved to buy one, I ask this beacuse i saw a video of a Conley V12. the poster of the video said that Gary was pleased to see it running... but i cant tell exactly if it's a real Conley or not

  • I did made a V-12 at one time, also a V-2,V-4, and a V-6.

  • how did the v4 and v6 run?

were they fuel injected or carbed?

  • yea i saw one of your v4 engine's on ebay a while back, looked like it was in condish

  • @conleyprecision are they still in production??

  • This video shows the prototype engine running with the optional high duration camshaft. After measuring the compression ratio it was discovered to be about 10.5 to 1. These two items make for a nice sound but rough idle. The standard version will have a milder, "street cam" installed and the compression lowered. This compression ratio will be significantly lowered for the supercharged version.

  • u know what, thats really good a small v6 engine wow !!! good work man im imprest. ;p

  • Count the exhaust pipes. It's a V8.

Or was that just a typo on your part?

  • Is that a T.P.I on that thing ?

  • while impressive you can build a real engine for that money!

  • Unfortunately, small parts does not necessarily mean small prices. If I were to build millions of engines the cost would be lower. When I only build 50 engines at a time, it is difficult to make them cheaper. I hope that you understand.

  • yeah of course, i respect what hard work and R&D goes into these things immensly

  • It is nice to know that some individuals, like yourself, do understand just how difficult building a small engine, really is. Just because it is small, unfortunately does not make them cheaper.

  • 5500 dollars lol

    serious mechining here

  • @conleyprecision yeah man its sme much harder to make a tiny lttle pushrod or piston or valve.. lol so what if its less material i dont even whant to know the time you have invested in these things amazing work man!

  • @conleyprecision it makes them cheaper to make... but the demand for baby v8's is incredibly small so the retail rice is driven sky high to make up for lack of sales....

  • English please

  • How much???

  • 5K +

  • WOW!!!

  • wow that sounds awesome.....stick a super charger on it!

  • he makes supercharged versions of it, fo an extra grand you can get a supercharged version for 6k

  • The total cost of a supercharged version is $6,790.00.

  • Actually it's an additional $1495.00 for the Supercharged version.

  • where can you get these?

  • Go to the link in the vid discription.

  • 6+ hp?

  • At the present time I think that the normally aspirated version should put out about 6hp at 10,000 rpm. The supercharged version should be closer to 10 hp. Stay tuned.

  • How many horsepower does an engine like this put out?

  • maybe 6-10? im not sure.

  • that freaken awesome man

  • Once again, thanks for the Kudos'. I still get a rush every time I start it.

  • wow i thought this company went out of business, man i could remember when they were doind dodge viper v10s, i don't anybody bought any though, the foundry that they made the v10s at caught fire and they lost all but one motor.

  • Yeah they lost the molds to the motors too. Chrysler gave him two viper crate engines to take apart so he could build the molds. They were destroyed.

  • yeah, it was a bummer, i remember they had only one motor left that was fully mounted

with all the works including a pencil sharpener, the price was really high though.

  • pencil sharpener?

  • yeah, funny but true

  • You are correct, there was only one of the V-10 engines completed and was purchased by a collector of fine engines.

  • The fire not only destroyed all the molds for the V-10 engine but also took all the molds for my standard V-8. The really bad thing is that there was no insurance to cover the over $350k loss. For the record, Chrysler did not give me two crate engines. They did however give me a partial engine with all the major components on it. From the outside it looked complete, but internally there was only one of each item, ie, pistons, rods, valves, etc.

  • I have been building and designing engines in the same location for all most 30 years. With any kind of luck I will be in business for another 30. For the record, I took orders for a considerable number of engines. When the foundry, which was located in Florida, burnt to the ground, all of the deposits that had been received were returned. This was a very difficult process and took several years.

  • dude...way better than the old ones....and the maker is conley precision....you better have deap pockets too..the set up this dude has...ur looking well over 6k for a toy, but well worth it!!!

  • tell us were u bought it from. is there a internet site?

  • He makes them himself, but if you go to the link on the vid discription, you can buy one.... For like 5 grand.

  • that thing is badass where did you get it and how mutch and are you going to put it in somthing plz right back thanx

  • He makes them himself, but if you go to the link on the vid discription, you can buy one.... For like 5 grand. Theyre for model RC cars.

  • I would love to see more of this thing!

  • That is BADASS!!

  • That is just fucking sweet
