I have no problem with the dog being tied up, he has water and is provided for. The facility is clean and he was petting his dog. I only ask that he be tied up with a regular collar, not a prong. But, nice looking dog. Dobermanns are not pets people.

Hey Stossy56. I own one, so I can talk. I have to disagree that the dog looks happy. To me, it appears frustrated. Barking doesn't mean it's being abused, but incessant barking may mean the dog is bored and has no other outlet for energy or entertainment. Dobermans that are treated as part of the family don't behave that way. Also, are these dipshits proud of thier barking dog? Idiots like them perpetuate the negative image of dobermans. That dog doesn't scare me; it evokes pity.

Hopefully you can take some of the advice people have given you. Your dog looks very unhappy and he needs to be inside with his family, not chained to a dog house on a cement patio. Dobermans are very special dogs and they make great pets if they are treated like pets and not a cheap security system. If you aren't willing to treat the dog like a pet then I encourage you to give it to someone who will.

Please go online and do some research about the very important needs of this special breed. Some dogs can live like this. The Doberman CANNOT. This is torture to the Doberman and may very well cause the dog to become violent and uncontrollable. If you dont wish to act responsibly, please please give the dog to someone else.
