Emma Farts while I Replace her G-tube

I'm 14 I also have that same exact tube!!! I get so worked up and nervous when I have to change it!!!! She was soo calm!! (besides her cute giggling) I actually should have changed mine by now but I just hate the feeling of something it all grosses me out. I hate looking at mine!

I'm a student, and I've seen a PEG installed by surgery. Didn't know mickey's were replaceable at home. Is there some kind of fixture between the stomach and the replaceable part or does it just go directly into the abdominal wall?

@TenderGenderBender - I have a G-Tube myself. The PEG is initially installed by surgery. The stomach wall is drawn up against the abdominal wall, and after it's in for about 3-6 months, the tract completely heals. The stoma will still close up rather quickly if the tube comes out (a matter of hours), but it's very easy to replace on your own.

you say on your website that emma is quadriplegic, but she is clearly moving both arms and legs in the video

This is a common misconception. Quadriplegia doesn't mean complete paralysis of all 4 limbs but loss of functional use of all 4 limbs. The movements you see with Emma are involuntary. A common problem with this is she scratches and gouges her face and has no control to stop it. Hope this helps.

Hey guys, I have about 12-14 extensions for the mini buttons (24 inch right angle feeding set with Y port for use with a mini button) my daughter Brianna used to have a mini button but we felt the g-tube was a better choice for her so we switched her back.

my daughter has a 14f 1.5cm and she has the mini one button, i love it cuz its thinner then the micky button, i have the connections though, way to long. So what i did was, i told them i still want a her to have the mini one but i wanted the micky Y connections, it works perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
