Actually I was bashing Matt Brady for what he did with my Savage Dragon/Obama 'exclusive' a while back, something I discussed with John and he agreed with me that it wasn't very cool. John's a good guy, a straight shooter, and I won't hold something a former Newsarama contributor did to me against him.

Why unload on John?  If I were talking to Bendis, perhaps it's a different story, but even then, I feel differently about Bendis than Jose does.
