This is an awesome program and its working perfectly on my DS, thank you for making and realeasing such a useful software! :D (now I can pass that algebra exam XD)
help! I can't install it properly with my NDSLite with TTDS R4. wabbitDS.nds is patched by the dldi that came with the software. when I run wabbitDS, hangs up with blue and white screen.
How do you get MirageOS to work? I really CAN'T understand why does it refuse to send MIRAGEOS.8XK to the calculator. The only message popping up appears to be "pages 1" and then...nothing else. My apps menu is still sad. I couldn't install ION either: all I get is err:INVALID.
To bad the DS is 500 times more amazing in every way, but only like 30% more expensive. That really just goes to show you how much of a rip off the TI calcs really are. Not to mention the fact that the DS is smaller, rechargeable, and has TWO backlit screens.
so you're using a platform with a color screen to run a program emulating a device with a black and white screen that runs more primitive games slower than the platform itself?
Obviously, because the Graphing Calculator function is completely useless. No college student could possibly want to save themselves 100$ by using this instead of a real TI-83.
and the thing just never goes on, i have the layout of the calc on the bottom screen but the top is a blank screen and like not havingt that blinking thingy.
What Is the file that you load before the screen says ram cleared? When I first load the program, none of the buttons work. Are any other files needed besides what's in the program download and the OS?
This is great. I use these in math class and I don't have to worry about breaking the school's and paying mad bucks for it! Love it bro, it's great for homework too, cause now I can get the equation of the line without having to draw a line =P. Thanks a bunch bro. Awsome APP. By the way, I use R4 and it works great on it.

Seems better than running calc games on the original hardware (due to greater motion blur on the calc itsellf)

so what do you do to convert your .8xu file into a rom?
i am trying to get wabbitemu (by the same people) to work at the moment, and i plan on getting a flash cart at some point
themuddaload 3 years ago
That's not needed.
You can send .8xu files directly to your "Calculator".
