  • Thank you for this tutorial. I believe I understand better now.

  • I tried your technique to try to remove microphone static, but static sounds does not stand out like a car alarm or cell phone ring. Is there a way to remove static or am I S.O.L.

  • @OnyxMediaGroupLLC

Use the part of the tutorial that starts around 1 min 30 sec. That is how to get rid of ambient noise, like room noise or a bad/cheap microphone.

  • what did you use to record your vocals for this tut??

  • Awesome man. Thanks for the walk through. I've used soundbooth very little. Had no idea it had a lasso tool! :)

  • What microphones do you recommend?

  • Great question and one that is so often ignored by video-content creators.

Seriously, buy the best mic you can. People pour thousands into their cameras, which last a few years before the tech is old. Mics last DECADES and are a great investment!

I love Sennheiser, but there are other brands that do well. Do a search for "microphone reviews" and read up. It's well worth it!

  • Thank you very much
