I've been looking for DDS2 for a while. I'm glad that I've found 1 before 2. If I found 2 and played it first I'd be confused the whole time, and learn all the spoilers in it (Which I'm sure are EPIC, just like other MegaTen games)

It's kinda hard to explain without spoilers, but I do know a way. This game, along with the MMO and the persona series, is a spin-off of the original Shin-Megami tensei series. So, it allows for a different type of storyline. The last "True" Megaten was Nocturne, but DDS, Persona, and the MMO can be considered they're own series, with loose conections to the main. Think of the stories alike to Final Fantasy. Does that make sense?

Your Explaination is helpful but also, the "Digital Devil Saga" series wasn't orginally part of the Megami Tensei series. It's true that in North America it's called SMT Digital Devil Saga, but in Japan it didn't have the SMT tagline. They used the Demons from SMT but that the only connection.

The second is a direct continuation, so you wouldn't understand the story without experiencing the first.

No, but I figured Imagine has this whole "let the players decide the fate of the world" thing, though it's pretty much already set in stone, since it's before SMT 1 and 2 - so it's not like anything you do can really change Aleph's future actions or something.

Also, DDS is one of those titles where it's possible that it's connected to the main SMT universe (what with the Hito-Shura and whatnot).

The song is called "Danger" by the band Etro Anime, from their CD "See The Sound". One of my very favourite albums, Danger is actually one of the weaker songs, and that's saying alot.

I haven't checked if this song "Danger" is on the list but I know its not Digital Devil Saga Part 2 soundtrack since I bought Part2's soundtrack with a collectors edition.
