im really interested in making my own guitar it would be my first one and before i even started is it possible for me to get the kit and the same pickups that are in like a les pual custom and it sound the same as the 5500 dollar les pual custom and i could paint it to be any color i wanted?

@xxprincebkxx there's a lot more to a guitar's tone than pickups. An experienced luthier would probably be able to build a guitar from scratch and make it sound like a real les paul, but i dont believe any beginners kit is capable of really sounding like that.

hey Colierrannd2, u prime the guitar to seal the wood and sand it to smooth out the little imperfections in the wood, and smooth it out to get it ready for paint

No one can just make you a video showing you how to make a guitar. Every build is different, different measurements, different parts, sizes, scale lengths, etc. If you want to get into this type of thing you need to learn to work on the instruments first. Start setting up your guitars. Learn how they work, action, intonation, truss rods, scale lengths, once you get a general understanding of how the instruments work, you can get an idea of what you need to do to build your own.
