I just saw the movie. Freakin awesome! It's very underrated and under appreciated. The casting was great. Olyphant was badass. I definitely recommend watching it. The costume is awesome too (the hitman suit and the russian special ops gear is awesome). I love the sword scene and the brutality of the kill scenes.

1) They weren't making this film to appeal to Russians. That's because instead of going to theaters, the cheapskates in your country pirate everything instead of paying money to see it. Your country is up to its balls in Mafia. Pirated credit cards, pirated movies, pirated music... you can find it all in Russia.

How can you base the intelligence of Americans off of an action movie,which primarily consists of shoot em up scenes and a lack luster plot,with just enough of a story line to introduce the main protagonist.I don't think you realize when you say Americans are stupid your not just generalizing one continent but two.We have had some of the most influential films in America that are played around the world daily.Martin Scorsese is one of the best directors in the world and he is from New York.
