This was a really good special of Paul. I have this on tape as well. Joy's story was great trying to meet Paul. Glad to know she finally met him after the show aired. I looked her up online and unfortunately she passed away back in 2007. At least her dream of meeting Paul came true.

Thanks for posting this. I too recorded it 20 years ago (as a 12 year old!) but I failed to save the tape. I was really tickled to find it again here just tonight. I watched all 9 parts. Good times! All this was a time before George's death, before Linda's, before Heather Mills... amazing. He was at his post-Beatle prime. I saw him on this tour as one of my first concerts. I did very much wonder if Joy got to meet him!

I seem to recall this show in January 1990 during Paul's huge comeback tour 89-90 that broke all kinds of records....especially down in Rio.

this was a great show! I remember they had two versions of this show, this being the original airing. the re-run of the show was shortened to less of the segments shown here. The lady that was so desperate to meet Paul, was shown at the end of the re-ran show with McCartney. so she did get to meet him. Again thanks for posting, I have been looking for this on you tube for a while.

thanks for the note. I actually got to meet Paul backstage at a concert in Pontiac, Michigan (at the Silverdome) approx 1992.

It was a rushed meeting but Paul and Linda were very nice.

I cant believe they didn't show her meeting him during the original airing?! That is crazy!
