Good practice, but my suggestion would be to take a step up from doing doughnuts around a rotary, getting maybe a closed terrain (if possible), learning the layout of that terrain, and drifting around the corners of that terrain. Make sure you're not driving over pot-holes, That could be disasterous. Also, when editing a vid for drifting, make sure to get different camera angles, not just 1 stationary camera following you from one spot. One more thing... don't kill your brakes. ^_^

Im getting tired of all these noob videos and comments agreeing that this is "drifting" doing a wide radius doughnut is STILL just a doughnut, A drift is an entry oriented slide at high speed, OR linking multiple corners or a set course via a slide without straightening the car. Doing CIRCLES do NOT count as drifting

Yes I know how to drift. I don't really get to do it alot here because there are cars everywhere but when i find an empty parking lot or at some racing events out in the countryside. Another thing we have here in MIchigan is racing on snow. That is fun and similar to drifting. I agree, you can't be a good driver unless you know how to begin a drift, hold it and come out of it without spinning.
