These subs can take about 500 watts of continuous power, but thats borderline. I have 2 hooked up into a ported chambered truck box hooked up to a kicker 250.2 zx, which is about 100 watts each sub, due to the ohm load. I hit 131 flat DB with that. I hooked up a DD amp and pushed 200 Watts out of each and hit 135.7. They aren't bad subs, but the heat WILL kill them.

@FluentSarcasm1 he hooked up the positive wires to eachother and then the negatives and strung out another wire attaching to them to hook up to the amp i had to do it with my subs i got 3 10's for now

@bwkramer4 First off, Peak Power is a lie fed to you by the company in hopes that youll purchase there amp because it puts out insane amount of power. What you want to look for is the RMS power output and match that with the RMS power handling of the sub. These subs take around 250w continuous power.

@sharpshott99 Peak power is the recommended power for Max. RMS power is what you need to look for more so than peak, however if you just want a system to bump around with, and have some insane burps then peak power is where you need to look, as well as RMS. Like a sub that is 1000 RMS/ 2000 peak, will handle a 2000 RMS watt burp, or note for about 10 seconds without damage, as long as it is broke in correctly.

@bwkramer4 if you buy a kicker amp you wont have to worry about peak power, you buy a zx750.1 youll be getting around 800 watts of power from the amp, but for the amps that are rated in peak power you can check for an rms rating on the amp/box, or you can look at the fuses and guess your amps power buy the fuses, ive been told that if you have 2 30amp fuses on your amp youll be pushing around 600 watts, you can correct me if im wrong cuz i have been before

If those are single voice coil 4 ohm woofers, running 4 will give you a 1 ohm load. Your amp is only stable at 2 ohms. Running below 2 ohms is sending a clipped signal to your subs which is going to damage them.
