Colin McRae DiRT 2 Drifting!

Actually I was playing on PC bro :) With steering wheel Logitech Momo Racing. Right now I'm using G27, but I don't have time for making drift videos. I'm thinking about it with Colin McRae DiRT 3, Need For Speed Shifts (both) and Richard Burns Rally ;)

Oh yeah and if you guy's saw the last comment, i just wanted to add on to that,

- if you are an amature drifter, then here is a tip, dont use your e - brake every time, you will either spin out, or hit a wall, or in my case when i started drifting, off the side of a cliff somewhere in the desert. the e - brake is ONLY USED FOR DRIFTING around HAIR PIN TURNS.

@MrHugoHD Dude, I really can see the diffrence between drifting and powersliding and it doesn't looks like pewrslides. If U think that it is, so tell what is it drifting in your opinion :P

Here's a tip for the long turn,

Always have a car with a good acceleration status, ( or atleast have ALOT of experiance drifting ) and when approaching this turn in paticular, you want to throw your car into the drift with this turn using the left trigger, keep a steady speed while tapping the left trigger.

- Hope it helps ! ( this is how i drift around that corner, and if you get good at it, you drift EXACTLY as seen here :D )

@dh1278 Dude I was recording this about a year ago. I really can't remember. But try to watch it from the second replay where camera is in car. You can sea a little bit how I was using handbrake and on witch gear I was drifting. In tuning mode I set the shortest gearbox ;) That's all I can tell you ;)

@dh1278 to be honest switch to tap e brake drop gear and manage corner have it on the shortest gear box for acceleration and instead of top speed u want acceleration for the ability of oversteer drifts and hardest suspension for good slides

No offense Dude but if you're racing like this, you are total noob. This run is just for drifting and it's quite slow. Drifting is not technique for racing :P (except tight corners).

I'm not sure can U see the difference between drifting and powersliding. The more angle, the better drift but slower taking the turn. Powersliding is what U talking about Bro ;) - taking oversteer because of speed.

Well although your driving is great, im never really impressed by DiRT 2 drift videos. Maybe its because you always drift in this game. When i try to get a fast time on a Track, i always drift around tight corners etc. so thats the standart way to play this game i think. I bet u used a lot of replays on that backward jump trick huh ^^ it was very nice.

I don't know how to explain it to you. I need to say, I think it has pretty realistic game (I mean driving model), but answering to your question it is easy to learn but not easy to do ;)

Answering to your question I'm using manual gearbox and I'm driving on pretty good sterring wheel so that is why that drifts are so long.

hey man, im pplaying dirt2 righ tnow on xboxlive and im driving the same car, same track. and i thought i was drifting... untill i seen this! this is INSANE!!!!! it makes me feel bad just to watch your vid, then to drift myself. they just dont compare.
